I am sure people like 8 or 9, I just think the writing was stronger earlier on. Hoping Troll Manifestation gets more love, I think it was a very good all round episode even though some probably hated the closing scene. I get what you are saying, It was largely on my list because of the Napkin scene which was brilliant and memorable but the rest of the episode to me was only good. Talking about unpopular opinions I didn't care at all for the stoner scenes/Howard shagged his second cousin revelation in Adhesive Duck which is why I didn't put it on my list. Hard to explain why the revelation creeped me out, all I know is I didn't like it and that was knowing that a pre-bernadette Howard was one creepy guy at times. Tripper Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 From memory, my view of Adhesive Duck at the time was also a feeling that the guys' pot cookie storyline was kind of meh. Since then, I think I've come to value the Penny/Sheldon storyline more and be less put off by the guys' story. I can see why it's always one of the more popular episodes in the tournaments now. I think I viewed Bath Item as an instant classic, though obviously that meant a little less back when there were only a season and a half's worth of episodes. While overall from an episode stand point some may think or prefer other episodes. IT is still the shows most famous episode. And its true its testament to how much of a classics they are the fact they still rate so highley. I hate to say it, but that is because of Sheldon and Penny. Their comic Chemistry just shines in those episodes. In Bath Item you had the Superman Dialogue joke, which I loved. While the story of Lenny wasent so appealing, i lead to Penny realizing shes not too dumb for Leonard haha. And then the classic Sheldon hugging Penny, and looking back at Leonard "Look Leonard, Sheldon is hugging me". So I think people remember scenes more then they remember the episode it self. And the napkin scene, is prob still the most famous scene in this series history, and prob always well be. I agree I don't see how anyone can vote any episode from S8 or 9, they are dreadful dreadful seasons, i liked maybe 2 Prom Equivalency and The Convergence Convergence. I think from a comedy stand point show was at its best first three seasons. Season 6 was the show in its prime. Respect that. That's not really applicable, as some jsut watch for certain characters. Like me I never cared much for the couples, while I am partial to Lenny.
