I can only speak for myself but I am not surprised that Season 1 isn't dominating a best episode list. For me personally (and a similar view to some that I have spoken to) Season 1 wasn't actually that great but it showed enough promise that luckily for all us fans. Season 1 isnt that good, but Luminous Fish Effect is great. First appearance by Mrs cooper and I really liked jim's performance and Sheldon's fish night lights! Another episode i like from s1 is the The Loobenfeld Deccay-Leonard and Sheldon make up a lie about sheldon's cousin Leo. DJ Qualls is very funny as Leo. Also if you are a fan of Amy, you will notice in the Bat Jar Conjecture (Physics Bowl) they refer to Mayim about joining their team. 3ku11
Adhesive Duck maybe the shows finest episode. Overall it was prob the series best episode to this day. The classic Sheldon and Penny comic Chemistry in its prime. Leonard, Howard, and Raj going camping was Hilarous. And of course it dispelled any underlying sexual tension between S and P, when Sheldon touched her boob . Edited July 22, 2016 by Tripper

In my opinion the love for bath item relates to how overwhelmed Sheldon was by what was such a simple gift on Penny's part. Then Penny in the Santa hat saying Look Leonard, Sheldon is hugging me. One of the biggest moments in the series as it was so unexpected. http://orig01.deviantart.net/fa4a/f/2012/228/1/6/look_sheldon__s_hugging_me___by_umbreongirl444-d5baxgo.png Edited July 22, 2016 by djsurrey

Jonny
When you get to this stage they are all very good episodes and some of the best or most memorable. Looking forward to voting in the next round, Scavenger is definitely one of my all time favorites.
3ku11
Well Sheldon and Penny are the breakout stars of the show. SO I see why Panty is rating so highley. As it is I voted Euclid. The driving simulator scene alone is pretty classic. Two great episodes, timless classics.
BlackWhiteRose
I agree with you 3ku11. Both episodes were classic. But I laughed a little more about the Euclid episode that´s why I choosed it. But Panty Pinada was fun too.

Did they get more into each ep in the good old days? Edited July 24, 2016 by JohnPhD typos

It's going a tough one to decide on. Gorilla is a very good episode. Penny: Okay, I just have one question. What exactly are sub-atomic particles? Sheldon: A good question. Penny: Thank you. Sheldon: And to answer it, we first must ask ourselves, what is physics? Penny: Oh, balls.

Normally in a tournament where there is an initial ranking, brackets are set such that, #1 plays #16, #2 plays #15, #3 plays #14, etc. in the first round, and so on, with the top seed playing the lowest seed. That way, if the higher seed always beats the lower seed, #1 and #2 seeds will meet in the finals. You don't want #1 and #2 to meet in the first round. I didn't save the results of the nomination round, so I can't say how they are running this tournament. On 7/21/2016 at 3:25 PM, Stephen Hawking said: To me, he will always be Rat Finch. DJ Qualls was the final actor along with Jim Parsons being considered for the role of Sheldon. I have to wonder if TPTB remembered him and gave him the role of Cousin Leo as sort of a consolation prize. On here they have the first half go against the second half but with the same relative places on their respective lists starting at the top. So you get: 1 vs. 9, 2 vs 10, 3 vs. 11. Next round it will be 1 vs 5, 2 vs. 6, 3 vs. 7, 4 vs. 8. A lot of the episodes were pretty close with their votes so maybe there'll be some surprises! 3ku11
Panty Pinata is winning by Quite some margin. So that well prob go through. Next on is Scavenger Hunt Vortex v Gorilla Experiment. Both great Episodes. Scavenger maybe the shows last great episode. Penny trying to learn Physics off Sheldon, to impress Leonard. But inadvertantly disses Leonard lol. Dumb Blonde. And Scavenger was fun.
