Tensor Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 For a variety of reasons, some even outside my control, I have not done a ratings post in two weeks. My apologies. Anyway, last week, TBBT had a 2.4 overnight, and picked up two tenths to finish at a 2.6 for the finals. Last night, the show was up four tenths in their Household ratings, from last week, with a 2.4 demo and 11.88 million viewers. That looks bad, and if it stays, it will be another series low (but remember the pickup of two tenths last week). However, that 2.4 will make TBBT the only show that will be above a 2.0 this week. Empire fell to a 1.9, The Voice was at 1.8, Modern Family was at1.7. And that 11.88 million? Number 2 for the week, and one of only four shows over 10 million (NCIS at 12.88 was number one, the other two shows were just above 10 million. I'll do a review of the final ratings today, and over the next several days, I'll put up the regular posts, to catch up with the posts I've missed (along with the archives). Tensor Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Finals for last night were 8 PM new episode was up a tenth to a demo of 2.5. This was down a tenth from last week and tied a series low. For viewers it was up 510,000 viewers to 12.39 million, down 490,000 from last week. Again, I stress that TBBT was the only show to break a 2.0 rating this week. And the 12.39 million viewers was one of only two series to break 12 million. At 8:30 the repeat pulled in a 1.6, which was the third highest for the night. It finished second for the night with 9.00 million viewers. An interesting sidenote, the repeat at 1.6 beat 17 out of the 21 episodes so far, of The Great Indoors. And two of those were the premiere and the second show.
