Tensor and now since you used BOLD and a larger font the masses will freak out and figure this means its all gonna end lol. I was wondering how you would word that when I saw this. But as I always tell you, its a quarter/season average on what we sell. No concerns here cause its not a trend yet. we'll see... Will be interesting to see when Live+3 and Live+7 as CBS will spin it too somehow. Edited November 4, 2016 by kerrycec03

I do wonder what caused the bleep..... personally I'm not going on anything until the election is over. Trust me, as a seller nobody's normal commericals are airing anyway cause political is eating up inventory in this home stretch. (Sidebar political doesn't post therefore ratings for that style of advertising aren't the same---plus what they are paying right now is insane--blowing out even network spots---but this is how political works and helps keeps a roof over my kids heads so THANK GOD political is finally soaring!!.. Its been a handful of markets & state up till 2 weeks ago) Plus, cable news viewership is highly on the rise right now effecting local affiliate tv watching in general (not just primetime). that said is a 10 year series, the days of insane numbers are over. NOW if this low continues for 3 weeks+ then I'll consider it a trend. Right now, its not a trend yet. Tensor
News and notes for the week of 07 November Under the "Something to know". Last week TBBT hit a low, it hadn't hit since season one,. A 3.0 for the overnight's, and it inched up to a 3.1 in finals. Empire, the only other show to hit 3.0 consistently, was preempted due to the World Series, so TBBT being the only show that hit 3.0 wasn't really a surprise. This week, TBBT was back to a 3.4. Empire, the show which had a remarkable two year run, was only at a 2.9, a series low for that show. As a result, this week it was a bit of a surprise that TBBT was the only entertainment show to break a 3.0 this week. The Voice was at 2.3, as was Modern Family. Black-ish hit a 2.0. That was it for non-sports shows over 2.0 this week.

TBBT was number one in demo with that 3.1. In second was Grey's Anatomy with a 2.1/8, up two tenths in demo and one in share from last week. This was the fall finale for Grey's. In third was The Great Indoors, with a 1.5/5, down two tenths in demo and one in share from last week. For viewers, TBBT was first with the 14.21 million viewers. In second was Grey's Anatomy with 8.01 million viewers, up 100,000 from last week. And in third was Mom, with 7.62 million viewers, up 450,000 viewers, from last weeks number three. In the 18-34 demo, TBBT tied for first with first with Grey's Anatomy at 1.7. This was down two tenths, for TBBT, but up three tenths for Grey's Anatomy, from last week. How to get Away with Murder was third, tied with last week's third place show at 1.0. In the 25-54 demo, TBBT was first with a 4.5, down two tenths from last week. In second, was Grey's Anatomy with a 2.6, up a tenth from last week, and there was a tie for third between The Great Indoors and Mom, with a 2.2, down a tenth for The Great Indoors and even for Mom. As a point of interest, Empire's final rating was tied with TBBT. Since there won't be any adjustments due to football (the game was on NBC), we may see it raise a tenth. The finals will be up later, when I get them. Tensor
Swedish Chef
What I found remarkable is that the show consistent have around 14.5 million viewers per episode

So this is a very good sign that it almost maintained with lift from Live+3 and so on even against NFL (granted its the "pre-game" as kickoff isn't until 830pmish)
Tensor
I found it interesting that Mom(9:00 PM) and Life in Pieces (9:30 PM) were only a tenth below their final ratings from last week. Both were at 1.4. Both those demos are above the average show demo this year. Life in Pieces is somewhat remarkable as its a single cam, on a night ( and network) of multicams, and its on at 9:30, which in this day and age, is late for a comedy. I think as CBS's sorta new single cam it works because its more snarky than the single cam more warm & fuzzy family stuff over on ABC (ABC has really wheelhoused that genre right now)
