Tensor
2 hours ago, kerrycec03 said: interested for this week's totals due to overall most programs/networks in full holiday titles mode. We shall see. I saw a CBS commercial this weekend, it touted TBBT as the number one show. CBS usually claims viewers and TBBT is always ahead of NCIS (which was touted as the #1 Drama) in the live + 3, so I would assume, TBBT is ahead in C3. There was a glimpse of C3 about a month ago in an article I read. Empire was ahead of TBBT, in C3 for that week, by two to three tenths, when they were basically even in Live + SD. I wonder if that has continued now that TBBT, is ahead by 4-6 tenths in Same Day, and higher in Live +3. I was interested in how the colorized version of The Dick Van Dyke show would do, as its one of my top shows. It skewed really, really, REALLY, old with a 0.7 demo, but was second, for the night, in viewers. That's about 900,000 in the 18-49 demo, and 6.5 million in the 50+ demo( I'm pretty much discounting for the 2-17. ). Although, for a show that's over 50 years old, that shouldn't be a surprise. Tensor
A quick note to say I'm sorry there has been a delay in the ratings. I've been away from the forum and wasn't able to get to them. Also, I didn't have the Live + 7 from last week. That came in today, so I'm completing last week and will start this week. For broadcasts, 22 December, 2016 * Indicates a repeat I'm doing things a bit differently for the next couple of weeks. As most everything last night, except for football, was repeats, I'm not doing any comparisons. In addition, I'm not getting the demo breakouts or households. When ever TBBT airs (there are a couple of Monday night repeats coming up), I'll put up the final ratings for the night. For scripted series, TBBT ran a repeat of 09.21, The Viewing Party Combustion. It had a 1.2 demo, a five share, with 7.87 million viewers. There was a tie for first place for demo, between TBBT* and A Charlie Brown Christmas* with 1.2. In second, there was another tie between Mom* and The Great American Baking Show at 0.9. For viewers, TBBT* was number one with those 7.87 million viewers. A Charlie Brown Christmas* was second with 5.49 million. Mom* was in third at 5.03. Football was, of course, well above everything else for the night with a 5.1 demo and 17.94 million viewers. Tensor
You really have to be specific to claim being the most watched. Note they don't count the three SNF games before the season "officially" starts. But those viewing numbers don't really mean anything. Oh, they are nice for bragging that they have the most viewers, but advertisers look at the 18-49 Live + Same Day demo, and the NFL is so far ahead there, it's not a contest. That's why the NFL get more than $550,000 per 30 second spot and TBBT gets only $289,000. As for Live + 7; last year, SNF had a 7.5 demo rating, and TBBT had a 5.8. As a matter of fact, TBBT wasn't even number two last year, Empire had a 6.4. While SNF is way ahead again this year, TBBT has passed Empire in Live + 7. And, the highest rated scripted show beat SNF. The Walking Dead, a cable show, brings in a demo just above 9.0, but it's not counted in the broadcast ratings (although it does get around $450,000 for a 30 second spot. As for Broadcast Entertainment shows (notice the specificity), TBBT is the highest rated in Live + Same Day demo and Viewers. It finished second in Live + SD demo to Empire and second in Live + SD to NCIS. It has passed them both this year. If you include cable, The Walking dead has a higher demo, but TBBT still has the highest number of viewers.
Tensor
Week 15 Overnight Ratings For Friday, December 30, 2016. As of Saturday, 12/31, I still don't have the finals. So, I'm putting up the overnights, and will edit this post with the final numbers when I get them. They are up. Remember, an "*" indicates a repeat, whether it is this week or last week. At 8:00 PM, the repeat episode of TBBT*, 9.22, The Fermentation Bifurcation, brought in a 1.7, with 9.23 million people. Even in demo and up 20,000 from the preliminaries. This was even in demo and up 1.4 million in viewers from the last week's show*. In first place, for demo, was TBBT* with that 1.7. In second, at 1.2, 1.1 was The Great Indoors* this was down two, three tenths from last week's number 2 show. In third was Mom* with a 1.0, down four tenths from last week's third place show. For viewers, TBBT* was number one with those 9.21 9.23 million viewers. The Great Indoors* was second with 6.27 6.00 million, down 1.4 million from last week's second place show. Mom* was in third at 5.51, 5.48 million down 1.8 million viewers from last week's number three show.
Tensor
The finals for last Thursday have been added. there wasn't very much of a change. I still don't have the Live + 7 for last week, so as soon as I get that, I'll put it here. I have it now, and it's up. I also normally get the Live + 3 over the weekend, but haven't got that yet either.
