'The Veracity Elasticity' - Season 10, Episode 7

In order to continue living with Sheldon, Amy lies to him about repairs being made to her apartment and they host an "on location" episode of "Fun With Flags" in Penny's apartment. Also, Leonard lets Penny decorate Sheldon's old room after he learns that she has been secretly moving Leonard's collectibles into storage

I loved, loved, loved this episode.   Laughed so hard.

Welcome back FWF, and now they have a theme song!    It was so nice to see a flag rejoining after the separation one in S9.

So, Sheldon is starting to learn to read people.   It meant so much to me to see that Amy hiding something was affecting him to where he can't eat, sleep, or keep his personal bathroom schedule.  He hates deception, but he was so quick to forgive Amy when he realized the reason.   Awww!

The good night kiss and Amy comforting Sheldon; how long I've yearned to see that.  Even in the dream, hearing Sheldon tell Amy "That's my girl" was so sweet to my ears.

Amy really shined in this episode.  She really has come to understand how to speak Sheldon.  

And OMG, I loved Lenny!   Penny is such a loveable bully to Leonard, but we all know he loves her despite her wanting to control things.  God bless his heart for the pink power ranger, and her honesty in telling him where she wanted to put it.  I have to admire her for taking interest in his hobbies but insisting on having a room that fits her personality.   I did think taking the batman off his keychain was going too far, though.

Thoroughly enjoyed the language banter between all four, but mostly between PAmy.

The sex dungeon was just so.....over the top hilarious.

Leonard barging into Shamy's apartment to hide Penny's stuff in their closet.. I thought I was going to die.

Episode had good parts and bad parts.

The best- the sex dungeon. Don't buy Sheldon dreaming this but most guys would want to be Leonard in the scene.

the good- Lenny redecorating. Espicially when Leonard started moving Penny's stuff to 4b in the tag.

the mediocre/ predictable-  Amy tricking, again, Sheldon to remain living with her. It seems she shouldn't have to lie to keep him. The only reason he stayed in 4b was Amy saw him in the hallway.

the unbelievable  - Penny learning Amy's secret language. The guys Klingon I can buy.

the bad- FWF. Needs to end. Having Raj and Howard in the scene didn't help

So many wonderful nuggets in this one.  I also liked Sheldon saying, it's my room, Leonard saying, you don't live here, then telling everyone to eat because this was going to take a while.

The dream sex dungeon scene should make the Lennies happy for a very long time.

FWF was awesome.  Footprints on the Moon was great.

The hallway scene was perfection.  Amy really knows how to handle her man.  And, some classical references for students to look up.  Thank you, writers.

Great episode. Very good writing overall. Just a fun and silly old style TBBT episode. And I enjoyed seeing the gang reunite. Had to laugh at Raj though "I am just going to eat, I have no say in any of this". I counted though first 3 and a half minutes. Lenny got ten seconds of screen time. Shamy had like a full 3 minutes of scenes, well one scene at 4B. Then it was 2 mins at Cal-Tech, loved seeing that place again. Then it was like a minute and a bit for Pamy. So Lenny got ten seconds watching FWF, and their one liners. So guess what I am saying is, I felt i Was watching The Shamy Show at times. I loved seeing the gang again. But guess my point is like to see more balance between the characters on screen. Shamy are still taking up way too much screentime. 

That said though, I do like Shamy, so I laughed alot at their stuff. I don't like fun with flags though, a bit juvinile imo. When Howard said it has no audience, that is prob true. I mean who would tune into to watch a an awkward couple talk about different types of flags lol?  Funny thing is I remember last season, in one of the FWF. Sheldon referenced NZ changing their flag, he was like you go you crazy kiwis! Ecen Sheldon thinks it was crazy. It was, because we lost millions of tax payers money. And the outcome to it was, that NZ choose to keep our flag. Our prime minister sucks.

It is funny though Sheldon told Amy to stop singing the Star Trek 2001 Oddesy, when she was trying too sooth him. Oh I am a grown man. Oh but its okay for you to talk about Flags lol. Your a grown man? Okay whatever you say. He also still has comic books, and action toys e.t.c. So Don't get how he was saying he is a grown man, yeah technicaly you are lol. But I did laugh a bit. I generally found this episode very laugh out loud. The guys scene at Cal-Tech is always a joy. Talking Geek Stuff, is always worth a nostalgic buzz. The Lenny/Shamy scene, of klingon, and whatever Pamy's language was hilarous! Then I think Howard started, Amy was like shutup! I do love how forceful the gang are being too, you need to be firm with Sheldon. So he sticks to his guns. He is clearly conflicited between the past, present, and future. Penny storaging Leonard's stuff was so great, just the wife hiding your crap lol. And Penny defeding it, againgst all rational was so great. I am sure their well be questions like, that was so OOC, or the lines e.t.c. But the absurdity and irony of it, is why it was funny, it is a comedy after all. 

The Sex Dungeon Scene lived up, my god. That is the most sexiest Penny has looked in years. I am guessing the reason Kaley is looking so damn great atm, is her personal life has a great balance right now. I instantly thought though, was that Johnny and Kaley's sex life when they were dating? hahahah. I agree it was so over the top and hilraous. I well say it again, alot of the appeal of TBBT for me was Penny. To see her return to her old self cannon wise. Her long hair. Young, Sexy Penny. IS exactly the spike this show needed. So it is great. And I really loved the last scene with Lenny. After all the snark, it was refreshing to be reminded of the love they share, that is so obvious. That they love each other. Leonard storaging Penny's stuff in the Tag, was so great and funny. This show despite its many issues lol, feels alot more refreshed. Opposed to 8 and 9. It feels like a new premise. It has a I Love Lucy premise feel to it atm. That is kinda opening the show to me in a  new way. I am not saying it well go down as the best season ever. But it is the first time in a while, I can watch an episode, despite the continued diminishing of Lenny. And enjoy the show overall. Just my wish for the rest of the season, is Lenny get more stories. get alot more screen time. And they give Shamy Stories a rest for the rest of the season. And give the rest of the characters screen time. Johnny is so underrated too. The most mportant cog in the show imo, he is the rock. It does feel the show has been revamped. The initial premise was the hot girl moves in next door. IT now feels this weird couple living across from this even more weird couple lol.

Actually, I just saw "The Skank Reflex Analysis" a couple of nights ago, and Penny goes to stay at Amy's apartment for a few nights, and Amy says:

"We'll make popcorn, stay up all night and I'll teach you my secret language, Op."

Apparently, she did.

I loved...  have to agree that FWF was a little too long and kind of boring but the rest of episode was priceless.... love Lenny new room and Leonard hiding stuff... so funny.

Hall scenes was great.. so sutil and well done.. love love love the way Amy handle...

I also love the possibility to Shamy living in a new place.. I can not stand the fact they have to live in tinny 4B... I want them to live nearby and in their apartment.. full of monkeys, brains, trains and books stuffs..they really need a house with more personality...

Spoilers ahead!

If your head is spinning from literally everything that was packed into tonight's 22-minute episode of The Big Bang Theory, then you're not alone. Amy's been keeping the truth about her apartment (it's fixed!) from Sheldon; Bernadette knew about the apartment, but blabbed about it to Leonard and Penny; Sheldon likes living with Amy and not only wants to continue the experiment, but maybe get their own place; Penny's been gradually moving Leonard's things into storage without Leonard's knowledge; and Amy and Penny are fluent in another language.

Lenny had something to do, so good episode in my book. And they were sweet, which is a plus.

This episode will be always in my favourite episodes list of the show because I really enjoyed everything about it! Writters, you have been working hard lately but so well, keep it up!

The writing  was deep and funny, the sense of everything that makes these characters being friends was there. It was so nice to see Raj and Howard hanging out in Shamy apartment helping in fwf, which was funny and cute. Those two are a duo amazing,lol! We had finally a gang scene in 4 A again with all elements for a great classic tbbt scene, especially how they all are involved in each others lifes.

We had funny and deeper stuff about lenny, the redecorating apartment was funny and realistic. The sex dungeon I laugh so much!

About shamy, it was so great. That hallway scene is one my fav shamy scenes, it was so meaningfull and so ic. Sheldon was hesitanting about la decision but since the moment he sensed Amy understood why he was like that and didnt mock him and even made him subtly to know that she just didnt want him to suffer and no matter what, she would wait for him, that is what means shamy. The use if the philosophal tesis was so great, only Amy is able to be so stimulated intelectualy as Sheldon for bringing such subjects to their table for helping them in their life issues.

Last but not least that bed kiss was  so beautiful! More thoughts in shamy thread, as usual.

Cant wait for next episodes, this season is indeed becoming one of my favourites !

I just watched the episode again and I  feel like someone gave me a 10 lb. Whitman's Sampler(box of chocolate) and told me I could eat it all and  not  get fat or sick! 

Footprints on the Moon meets Fun with Flags!  The Nerd vine is alive and well and operating at full chaotic capacity!   Shelnard  in cahoots at their best.  Amy is soooo much smarter than Sheldon and he doesn't have a clue. Shelnard vs Pamy. Penny's questionable decorating skills turn Leonard's room into a tacky little love nest. Sheldon's Lenny after Dark nightmare!  The LA looking very good!  7 good friends sharing a meal and their lives!

That was not a bad episode. Got some laughs. The big factor was that I didn't see P & L behind the kitchen counter. Rated this a GOOD.

Okay i enjoyed this episode alot more than the last two,the FwF in 4B was different  but it worked also Howard and Raj's song for fwf was actually quite good.Its was nice to see the entire gang together again it's been awhile,the two conversations in languages that the others didn't know was funny to watch.Penny moving Leonard's stuff without his permission wasn't nice but Leonard ended up not being to bothered by it just wanting Penny to feel at home.It was nice to see Sheldon seems to have decided to live with Amy permanently we just don't know where yet,well except it won't be 4A looks like that is now Leonard & Penny's home.I liked that Leonard had a couple of pictures in his bedroom from their wedding redo,Penny's redesign wasn't that bad except for all the pink but i suspect it'll be different the next time we see it.Finally my favourite seen of the episode had to Sheldon's nightmare that Leonard & Penny had turned his bedroom into a sex dungeon.
