soniamdissapoint Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Liked a lot small cool things in this episode: Ubbi Dubbi even though they didn't speak it correctly "So you believe [...] your own eyes over me?" was pure gold Funny reference to wizards robe (may be unintentional) etc. But overall I don't see where the show is going to for a long time. RoRo Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 I rewatched, and the hallway scene says so much without one word of dialog before Amy arrives. Well done writers, directors and JP!
sdffcx Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 At the end of this episode, leonerd told sheldon to keep the secret.Sheldon can't keep secret, right? I'm a little confused.
Shelldon Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 -Sheldon's dream version of Penny wowza.....SIGNS OF SHENNY. -Lol but that was the best Shamy living together episode since the episode the experiment started. Enjoyed their conversation in the hallway when Sheldon was standing between the two doors. -Penny has no respect for personal property. At least it looks like Leonard is getting her back. -Fun With Flags now has its own theme song. How long before a TV show? -I hope that Klingon speak becomes a recurring S10 gag, as long as they don't beat it into the ground. 4everlenny Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Loved the episode. Had to rewatch several times, because I couldn't stop laughing when the guys were talking Klingon and the girls were talking Amy's made-up language. Very funny. Show is showing a lot more balance between great couples moments and lol moments this season. And then theres the Lenny Sex Dungeon... Bravo, Bravo, Bravo!!!! Jonny Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 (edited) It was just all the events of the day, finally giving up 4A (we assume so), the discussion with the gang about his room that made him dream that. The sexual element narrative of the dream though might be a sign of Sheldon's urges starting to really rise to the surface (for Amy). I don't think there was any Shelnard or Shenny desire stuff going on and it was more a nightmare to him than anything. Loved the conversation in the comic store afterwards. Howard predictably lol was asking about the chaps and if they were ass less, when he said that you could see the smirk on Leonard's face lol. And Raj's response was also funny and so Raj when him and Howard playing off each other. It looks like the episode is getting a lot of praise with critics and reviewers as it should be, it was fantastic all round episode. No. Amy taught Sheldon her own made up language. In this one she talks "Ubbi Dubbi" with Penny which is something else entirely. PatsyR Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Stephen, Ubbi dubbi, the made up language that Penny and Amy speak, has actually been around for a while. The rules are simple and involve adding an extra "bub" syllable before the accented syllable in a word--or so says Wikipedia.
Stephen Hawking Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 (edited) Sheldon isn't much of a linguist. It's pronounced Boo-da-pesht, not Boo-da-pest. Edited November 5, 2016 by Stephen Hawking

Stephen Hawking Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 (edited) I haven't seen the whole episode yet, but I've seen a few clips on Youtube. The goodnight kiss was sweet, but I'm a needy baby greedy baby, so I want more, including Sheldon laying on his back, with Amy laying next to him, with her head on his chest. Lady in Red Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Stephen - To prepare for watching this episode, I suggest that you read up on Buridan's ass, as well as Al -Ghazali and his views on Aristotelian logic.

I remember that once when I was watching an episode of The Big Bang Theory on E4, the continuity announcer said If Sheldon can't keep a secret, why do people keep telling him their secrets?. Also, I'm watching this episode now. I'm glad that there was a Fun with Flags.

Picard_Over_Kirk Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 This episode has only just been broadcast here in the UK (30/11/16). One of the funniest of the entire show for me. So many great elements. - Howard and Raj's "band" adding a musical element to FWF was a great start. - Klingon and Amy's language being used. - Sheldon's hallway dilemma. - Raj "I'm just going to eat." when all the others start confronting one another about events. - Sheldon's dream/nightmare. Penny's hiding of Leonard's stuff was mean, she's known how nerdy and geeky he is, and how much that stuff means to him for 10 years! - how didn't he notice his Batman keyring had gone missing?? that was funny - she could have just asked him to make some room so she could add 'herself' to the bedroom as it were. Felt it a bit hypocritical of the character given the advice she gave Leonard when he was dating Stephanie back in season 2 (3?). However it did set-up the second half of the episode well and the overly pink bedroom had me in stitches. Leonard hiding some of the pink in 4B and Sheldon's 'not bothered' attitude ended the episode really well. Really good, strong, funny episode I thought. Enjoyed it.
