Maybe im biased because I have issues with germs so while it seemed cruel to me, it might not seem cruel to Sheldon. But I agree, atleast we got to see someone else besides being wacky for a change. Did you feel equally or more disgusting when Sheldon in Howard's car in 609? Because it seems more intolerable to me. I mean Howard has to sit on the seat (although with pants on). Sheldon doesn't need to wear that flag lol.
Tonstar17 Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 What Leonard did with the flag was funny. Taste of own medicine. Why should he care about Sheldon feelings, or his obsession with flags. When Sheldon learns to respect other people feeling which he will never. I say good ridens to bad rubbish Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Leonard knows Sheldon, he knows his love for flags in general and this flag in particular, heck he knows when Sheldon would show up in the laundry room. Revenge is a dish best served cold - or in this case naked. Edited December 2, 2016 by April

He stabbed Sheldon right in his flag loving heart - that was a pretty precise strike and he knew it would hurt Sheldon. I mean, honestly, I don't think Leonard is the worst or anything and that gag was funny but it was also revenge that was intentionally orchestrated to offend Sheldon's feelings. No reason to split hairs here, especially since the characters themselves are not disputing it. Sheldon accused Leonard of hurting him with this, and Leonard admitted that he did it because Sheldon was a selfish ass earlier, which is true. luminous Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 From Jessica Radloff's recap for glamour.com Quote [...] By having Sheldon decide he wants to move his valuables over to Penny's apartment (which he's now living in with Amy), the Big Bang Theory writers gave us Sheldon at his least likable. He was downright selfish, annoying, and mean-spirited to Leonard, who tried to take the high road until he completely reached his limit. I didn't find the episode was flipping gender stereotypes at all. Those guys fight over personal belongings, that's who they are, since the beginning of the show. All of them, at different times, have argued about ownership of collectables, do you remember the ring from LOTR, or the thousands of times they have fought about who saw a particular comic book first? It was pretty natural that at some point Sheldon and Leonard would have divided their collectables, we are speaking about stuff that nowadays might be worth thousands of dollars (at least the most valuable pieces in their collections) and anyway it has a sentimental value for both of them. That would have happened even if Sheldon had remained in 4A (which seems such a sore spot in the article). Plus, I don't think the girls are angels and they never stoop so low in their fights (as the article states). In The Parking Spot Escalation, Bernie scratched Amy's car, and Amy in retaliation tried to hit her with a bag full of coins! They only stopped because poor Penny got hurt!!! What Leonard and Sheldon are doing right now is nothing, in comparison. Edited December 2, 2016 by mirs1

Reading JR's piece I found myself thinking "Have you seen those girls??" cause when they're not packing a mean punch (literally!) they can be snarky and scary as hell. You do not want to mess with those ladies! Changing wi-fi passwords and defiling a flag is child's play! LOL
Tonstar17 Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 Every one has moved on from the childish games, except Sheldon (The instigator) who apparently never will, cause it's funny. NOT.......Sent from my SM-G935F using TapatalkOK. My take on the episode. Did not laugh once. Not even the lenny scenes. So yeah. JE7 Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 (edited) OK watched it twice 24 hours apart my conclusion, it was OK not bad I did laugh 3 times. The flag scene was a JG classic i wonder what's next, the other 2 times were at Amy I really liked her in this episode The painting scene was all Amy/Penny the guys got lost in the glare and it was the best scene in the show. The R/H/B/S stuff I didn't like and basically skipped. What should have been the highlight of what could be considered a milestone episode was instead a bad B plot. And that my friends is just bullshit Edited December 3, 2016 by JE7
3ku11 Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 (edited) Completely agree with Jessica's Review. It was arrogant, childish , insufferable Sheldon at his best. Leonard could only tolerate so much. I guess some things never change. Gotta be more creative, It's Season Ten not Season 6. Start applying the changes Sheldon has made in his character development to actual storylines. Don't tell us, show us. Ironically I found Stuart and Raj the most LOL of the episode. Again many have justified Sheldon being a jerk because Leonard was one. It always come to the same two conclusions when Sheldon is a jerk. 1. If you can't blame anyone else for Sheldon's actions suggest he doesn't know any better. 2. If someone else is also being an apparent jerk deflect Sheldon's bad behavior onto that person. It can never be Sheldon is a jerk period. It's seems it is Sheldon is being a jerk but............ As you correctly pointed out this is season 10 and we keep being told he has made much character development. I'm sorry. Didn't see it in this episode. legacy99 Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 Poor leonard he can't win if sheldon gives him crap and he just takes it he's a wimp but if he fights back like in this espiode he's being mean to sheldon Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
3ku11 Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 (edited) Well If Sheldon has an idea it works, it is progress. But if not, it is usually blame Penny lol. We get told by the show and fans Sheldon has changed, or he has grown. And I agree to a certain degree. But then the show actively try to tell us he has changed. In this instance, they tried toi tell us vicariousley through The Doc. "Your anger comes from Love". Doh! *Hit's himself on top of the head*. Why did I not see that . And maybe Sheldon has grown. But I have yet to see practical examples of it, ir very least, we did not see any examples of it in this episode. To me Sheldon was funny years ago, because he was so deadpan, and innocent. He always had a rational for everything he did or say. Now he doesesn't, their is so no rational excuse to his behaviour. If your grown Sheldon give the man his damn flag lol! Thing is Leonard has always kinda been the "Mackdaddy" of the guys. He has never really grown, because I remember he said something about he used to take a breifcase to school. He has been a grandpa his entire life. Sheldon has been a manchild, and has been enabled his entire life. He never expereinced normal things kids did growing up. And I get that, but he has had enough oppurtunities as an adzult, that beneifit of the doubt no longer applies. Let's just say this episode was fun, but no different to The Itchy Brain Simulation to me. Basically whole episode, Oh Poor Leonard, oh god, Sheldon your a jerk. Oh Poor Leonard. Why does he put up with him? They are now neighbors. And now Amy has to deal with him.. Edited December 3, 2016 by 3ku11
