I think the more accurate description is he survived the storm that is Penny with her commitment issues, lashing out and pushing loved ones away. He is a true warrior haha And she managed to get through this stuff with his help. I prefer Penny is a slob jokes and Leonard gets excited about goofy things (e.g., change maker), these are much more fun IMO.

Isn't Sheldon an adult. The gang did more than enough. When Sheldon degraded Lenny's marriage there really should be no obligation for Penny to help him.

This episode is one of my favourite from this season gang interaction speaking . It was very nice to see how each of them care to one who is in need of help. That s what the friends are for.The stairs scene was really powerful, funny and insigtfull. 

About shamy stuff I have already shared my thoughts in its thread. But I could not miss the oportunity of saying that I really hope to see more of gang interactions in next seasons. Because I have always loved when we have boys scenes or girls or both. One of things that I have always looked for since earlier seasons. 

These friends are like a family. It is really nice when I as viewer can feel that in this side  of the screen.

Toblerone, although a Swiss chocolate,  is not uncommon, here in US.  I'm not a big chocolate fan, but you can actually get it at domestic or international airports.  I also see it in stores where I live too. It is usually triangular sticks of chocolates like Sheldon is holding.

Toblerone is something you see much in any supermarket around here too. It is one of my favourites chocolate candy!

Yeah the final line to that song iirc was 'and oh mr confectioner please, give me toblerone' or something like that.

My nana gave me a large toblerone bar every Christmas with a Guinness Book of World Records and various other things like socks.

Wasn't a fan of the large toblerone bars because you had to put them in the fridge to stop them melting but they then became difficult to break off. Had to use a rolling pin to smash them up and then put them in a food bag back into the fridge.

Wow talk about going off on a tangent lol!

I don't recall any advertising but I do remember relatives sharing pieces of the bars around Christmas.

Now I just watched the finalie properly. My thoughts

It was good. Not the best finalie from this show. That is still Season 2 and Season 5 imo. But I Thought the rest of the cast that was not Sheldon, stole the episode for me. Their interactions were really good. 

It did feel however kinda a rehash of the 200th episode. Too Sheldon centric for my liking. Only having one storyline centred around one character. In a perceived ensemble comedy, just doesent feel right. I also felt if Leonard nor Penny had any major role in the plot. Their comments towards each other. Were pretty snarky. It did not advance the plot. IT just felt like an oppurtunity. To force those contrived jokes, that are so unorganic. Penny had no reason to be so mean to Leonard. When he simply asked if they should call Amy. As an audience, it makes we wonder why she brought that tone with Leonard. Did he do something to piss her off earlier? Lol. Nope she is just being snarky. I hope they drop those jokes in Season 11. It is uneccessary. 

As for the kiss. Now I have watched it. Sheldon was clueless pretty much the entire episode. Up and including the kiss sequence. But Sheldon had self awareness. He even asked Ramona "Do you have a romantic interest in me?". Then when Ramona kissed Sheldon. It went longer then I Thought it would. IT diddn't seem like Sheldon recipucated. But at the same time, he diddn't reject Ramona, or push her off. IF Ramona did not stop the kiss. I wonder what Sheldon would of done? Tons of gray areas to this. I don't think it as simple as Sheldon did not cheat clearly, it is not so clear cut. I guess my reasoning is if we can presume Leonard cheated based on information that was given to us. Then then logically Sheldon did too. Neither Leonard or Sheldon intentionally meant to though. 

As for the proposal. As a non shipper. It felt kinda impulsive to me. Like marrying someone, spending the rest of your life with someone. Should be thought out. I know he has had the ring for a while now. But it just felt like Ramona kissed him. He then decided to walk out. What is Ramona thinking lol? Travel all that way and propose. Of course Amy is going to say yes. But I wonder if Ramona well be around in S11. And end up telling Amy? And it might change her decision. And wonder if Sheldon's proposal was geniune? Who knows, watch this space. Overall decent. Not the best. My hope for Season 11 is they cool off the Shamy love for a while. Yeah Yeah that well happen. But to me The rest of the cast outshined Sheldon. They need to utilize them more.

-Amy is turned on by Grammar Nazis? She probably reads a lot of YT comment sections.

-Raj is hard at work with flossing tutorials. This would count as character progress if one of his exes had insulted his hygiene.

-Nowitzki! What a short 8 years. Apparently you haven't settled down yet. Maybe you were cryogenic-ally frozen and that explains why next to nothing is explained to have changed for you.

-Dessert before dinner is always the right choice.

-So Sheldon finally cloned himself. Or Ramona just made a copy for herself.

-Always Purell. Because no one knows where Ramona's been. Literally.

-Penny, buy him a freaking Toblerone.

-I love browsing articulating ladders. But how can you hang yourself with a ladder?

-Amy finally finds out about her man's history with women before he met her. I guess it's believable why she never asked.

-Now Ramona's even trying to help Shamy mend their issue of Leonard coming between them. What a gal!

-Shaking a can of nickels would just give Sheldon the idea to do it more frequently.

-"Haven't played the race card yet". Ramona's head is narrow so maybe she is narrow minded. Raj is onto something.

-This salty Raj arc will lead to Rajmona endgame when she feels bad about not giving him a chance before.

-OHMAHGERD IT'S THAT RING FROM THE SEASON 8 FINALE. A cliffhanger not directly answered for 2 years.

-Sheldon pops the question! Will Ramona still be back for the Season 11 premiere? I totally need a scene of him telling her he's engaged. And then she'll fling herself at Raj.

-Seasons 9 and 10 have been an interesting experience. As someone who hates stalling, I've been delighted that they've pinned down a clear writing effort with getting Shamy to the point where the ring feels earned. That's the right use of extra time. If they can flip the Raj coin around like they did this, I'm fine with a definitive end at Season 12.

Agreed, he didn't stop the kiss, but nor did he didn't attempt to continue it.

He was surprised/shocked/stunned by the kiss, and, once Ramona broke the kiss, he did the sensible thing, and immediately removed himself from the situation.

He could also have walked out, found a condom and went back in and had sex with Ramona, before leaving. Or Amy was in her robe because the guy she had just had sex with had just left. There's a lot that could happen if you want to get into "for all we know".  From what they showed, he didn't use mouthwash, he never went back, and Amy was getting ready for bed.

I was talking about the whole gang, why are you singling out Penny?

Anyway, Sheldon isn't degrading Leonard and Penny's marriage (they do that on their own anyway), these are digs made as jokes that all the characters throw at each other, including Lenny towards Sheldon/Shamy. That doesn't stop anyone of them hanging out with the rest and helping each other.

Also, @serena_1995, about the mouthwash - either he did that off-screen or he didn't feel the need to due to him getting over his phobias little by little.

 The thing the writers do in the writers room, is to write what Penny and Leonard do in TBBT universe. Without the writers, Leonard and Penny wouldn't talk in TBBT universe.
