I could see a story line where they are all helping S/A arranged the seating for the reception and Sheldon insisting on an honorary spot for Hawking.

There's a tradition here in the UK, whereby, at the first major celebration (often Christmas) after someone has passed away, to set a place at the table for them, and to place a glass of wine for them.

This was very common in the United States in the 1880's. One of the most popular Civil War songs was called "the Vacant Chair". (NOT to be confused with the Sting song "the Empty Chair". It is on the Songs of the Civil War CD that was put out with the Ken Burns mini-series.) That was the first time many young men from a lot of small towns had left their homes and gone away and died, and the families were often unable to bring home the bodies. It fell out of favor in the early 1900's from what I've read. .

Such a long wait for the next episode I am really looking forward to seeing. Mid April by the looks of it but I am sure it will end up being worth the wait :)

Been reading the TR again for it and I think any other day Amy would have probably loved doing what they had organised (and I think it's a sign they do actually know her) lol, but she wanted a more exciting 'stereotypical' hen night and I totally get that. It really matches her earlier character what I call the kind of 'missing teenage Amy years' when she was first interacting with the girls. With her wanting to hear stories about things they did but she wanted to do but never could including sometimes youthful abandon stuff lol.

I'm sure it will be just as good as the TR suggested :)

I was speaking with a friend earlier today and they toId me some fans are suggesting Jessica RadIoff questions for TBBT PaIey Fest PaneI.What are the Shamy (as this is the Shamy thread) questions you wouId Iike to ask or the Shamy scoops you wouId Iike to hear at the paneI? I think I would be asking everything about the wedding, from the venue to which family members wiII show up, in particular from Amy's side and, maybe, if we'II see a pIot about Shamy scientific project which has been forgotten IateIy!

I'd like to know if they're going to go house hunting to find somewhere to live as a married couple.

Also, since they've talked about children since they met, will they be discussing starting a family seriously ?

Will they go to Oxford and Cambridge for the honeymoon ? I can see Sheldon being first afraid and then delighted at driving a barge along a canal. I can imagine they had intended to drop in on Prof Hawking but now will go to look for his memorial. How about York railway museum, and visits to volunteer projects where he can drive a train again ?

Then perhaps they could visit Chatsworth where one of the Pride and Prejudice films was made. They could take a Bronte tour which Sheldon would enjoy more than he thought.

And they usually take the random fans questions to the table? I mean last year the panel questions were mostly centered in same discussion theme...

If it will happen, I wish to ķnow same questions @mirs1 pointed out about the wedding. :)

Yes, they take questions from the audience, but as you noticed they are aIways the same, if actors understand physics, if they read comic books...how many times have they to answer that? IoI! Even if, you know, I think I wouId be so shocked to be in front of my favorites that probably I wouldn't be abIe to say anything at aII, Iet aIone ask some questions! Iet's hope in an interesting paneI, fuII of scoops, new anecdotes and spoiIers!

True, lol! Thanks for the info on this. I know what you mean about not be able to say anything at all if I was in front of the cast: it is one of good things about internet, the writen questions from tv shows fans in events like Paley fest, hehe!

Ooooh, those Paleyfest panels are usually pretty good.

The best one ever was when someone finally made them explain what they had been going for when, as the fan put it, they made Amy so gay for Penny. Once they explained it, it made more sense, but it was also absolutely obvious then why it had not worked.

Yeah....if we don't get at least one of these " MaJim moments " I'm gonna be very, very disappointed!!:icon_cheesygrin:

I'm guessing someone will ask a question about the wedding....it'll be interesting to see how much the writer's will be willing to give away.

I've always wondered whether actors feel differently about their characters in a long-running serial as opposed to the characters they play in a theatre every night for months, saying the same thing and knowing what's going to happen to them.

I've always wanted to ask TV actors who also act on stage about that.

Comes down to each actor I guess, I would imagine you can play a role in a film or say in a theater and be very proud of the work you have done even though it was for a short time. I would also imagine some enjoy playing a role for a long time especially if it's on an iconic show or as a character, in some cases it was their big break or something they never matched in terms of popularity or enjoyment again so they remain proud of it.

I think all the cast have enjoyed their work on the show and and thankful for the opportunities it has given them, some might now want to move on others might want to continue as they are still enjoying it. We shall see what happens.

Going back to the previous posts I have no doubt Jim will have Mayim laughing or looking a bit embarrassed lol that's how he is and even though I don't know the dynamics of their relationship I've always had the impression it's a good one :)

Today's the day, PaleyFest 21st March 2018!

Fingers crossed we get some goodies from the panel. Wedding stuff or maybe an indicator of what theme or style they might be going for (comedy, romantic or something in-between), possible casting news about Amy's parents and if any of Sheldon's siblings are turning up for the wedding. Hopefully we also get a nice clip of Majim interacting during a question like we have seen during past panel appearances.

:)

Paley fest panel!!! tumblr_p12xwuyYJl1qbwtexo2_540.gif.f993ea6f5acde9f1ab2517ad3a1405c6.gif

Can't wait for it, I'm not even ashamed to say I was considering setting my alarm at 4:30 A.M. to watch it live....Luckily I made sure will be available in their FB page also after the live streaming (at least that's what is happening with the other live streamed panels so far), so I can enjoy it while drinking my coffee in the morning, together with  the cast pics, interviews, spoilers and all the jazz! Finger crossed for some Shamy spoilers and Majim cuteness!!
