Jonny Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 (edited) lol well I am not hoping for full Klingon vows by anyone. But I kind of like this idea that perhaps Sheldon decides he isn't going to do any Klingon in his vows but then as a surprise perhaps Amy says a part of her vow in Klingon that wows Sheldon lol. I think it could be funny and sweet at the same time. Maybe they both have something in their vows in terms of delivery or language that surprises the other and in a good way? Meemaw can have the flu and stay home alone for all I care. The actress did an awful job and is nothing like she is portrayed now on YS. Not that I totally blame the actress for not being able to make a mountain out of a molehill, but it was really bad.

vonmar Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 From TV Line 17 Unforgettable TV Character Introductions From Supernatural, Buffy, Grey's, HIMYM, Lost and More Amy Farrah Fowler, The Big Bang Theory It was “shared apathy for organized religion at first sight” when the lady neurobiologist first met Sheldon and, perhaps most with the promise of “no coitus,” managed to lower the online dating cynic’s defenses. Quite timely considering some of the powers that be don't remember it all that well lol I think it will go down as one of the greatest introductions in sitcom history that had a long lasting impact on the show which in my view was in a totally amazing way. Capt. Hilts Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 They've got Amy in too much make up this year. It's been a few weeks since I last typed that.

I think the main problem with her look this year is that they have completely dismissed the "fancier" clothes (compared to what she used to wear) she had last season after the flood ruined her wardrobe and now she dressed exactly like she did in S. 6. The same goes with her hair and probably make up, they are reverting her to her S. 6 style, which is not my favourite. I think she looked much better in S. 10. TBQH, I'm not very confident I'll like her wedding dress at this point!

I would agree with that, though what do I know about makeup lol ? @mirs1 is right I have noticed her wardrobe has gone a bit 'old school', I think they made some subtle changes last season that were still 'in her style' but tweaked slightly to be a bit more modern. But they have changed it back again. The only other thing and trust me I am not going all 'Donnie Pfaster' here is her hair. I liked her hair more towards the end of the Season 9 when they styled it a bit differently, more of a wave/curl to it, not sure about the technical term here lol. I think they changed her hair and clothes slightly, end of Season 9 and some of Season 10 and then this season they have reverted it back to some really old stuff and I am not sure she suits it as much these days. I have a picture here, for example her hair in Big Bear is what I am talking about which funnily enough is my current avatar (again I am not Donnie Pfaster, honestly): All IMO of course Edited April 1, 2018 by Jonny

Though, again, it actually is normal for folks who work in a lot of research labs to wear sweaters hours after they're out of the lab. amethyst Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 I also liked the subtle changes they made to Amy's hair and clothes in seasons 9 and 10.I've absolutely no idea why they've felt it necessary to revert her look back to earlier seasons because, to me, it makes sense that she would want to look a little different ( without losing what makes her who she is ) given how her life has changed and moved forward! BobtheBlob Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 I may be in the minority, but I liked Amy's hair when it was curly, like in Sheldons birthday episode and in 9x19. That is a style I think they should use more often (why not for the wedding?)
vonmar Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Maybe the hair and makeup people are so frustrated that they can't flat iron Kunal's hair anymore that they are taking it out on Mayim...lol

In Bernadette's office she had to stand in one place. They really should cut it into a nice, smart style such as she had at the beginning of S8, or pin it up. I wouldn't buy anything from a saleswoman with straggly hair like that. It doesn't say much for her product.
Jonny Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 (edited) It's 4 years tomorrow that 'The Indecision Amalgamation' aired which has in my view one of the funniest scenes/Shamy scenes ever done on the show (it's in my top 5 without question). It's just pure genius and Mayim steals the scene, absolutely crushes it Edited April 2, 2018 by Jonny
