Well as for season 12, I think the Asymmetricy arc will be their priority for the Shamy storyline, as well as their now married life. We know they kind of were already married and living together before, but now they are officially husband and wife, and it will be fun to see them in this new chapter.  For the new interview, it seems they wanna do a mix storyline, with Shamy working together in the Asymmetricy story and also them as a married couple. And I think this is very interesting. I love the idea of shamy working together and I really missed this in season 11. As for the shamy kids, I think if we confirm a season 13, then I can see they ending season 12  with the shamy pregnancy storyline to open in season 13.

I hope this happens. At first, I thought maybe they put the clip on Twitter was because they don't want to show it in S.12, but seeing people's reactions both on line and real life made me think maybe they would change their mind. The scene is perfect for cold open,  then after the theme song, they can do a time jump.

Also, the Shamy wedding already made one week, but only tonight the episode was going in UK in channel E4, and it's being lovely see the people's reaction. Also, the shamy wedding will air next week on Brazil. 🤗

Saw loads of tweets last night as the wedding episode aired in the UK saying 'Sod the Royal Wedding' and 'There is only one wedding we care about and that's the Shamy one' lol

I watched it again on E4 and yes I had dust in my eyes again when Amy delivered her vows lol.

I also wished  and ,said here ,the Hawking tribute could have been included in s11 finale. However I thought of all S11 plots dynamic ,that were so centered on a such happy event like a wedding, that made all Shamy friends and family as happy as they were. A tag scene about a loss like Hawking would leave a sad vibe in viewers instead of a good laugh they got from Shamy weird looks at singer Kripke. Imo they really choose a better way to honor Hawking memory with an independent and beautiful scene the viewers and fans always can revisit. With the bonus for all lennies and shamies shippers for such sweet scene between the two couples. Leonard and Sheldon started to be friends. Now they still be even more friends as they are married men and their wives started to be their friends first and now all of them share strong friendships too. To me this really filled my heart of good vibes and I will always bond that to that beautiful Hawking moment.

Well it got coverage over here, even the BBC had a 'Why was the Hawking tribute scene cut?' article.

I like the scene a lot and I was happy they released it to us. But if they wanted to put it in the episode they would have had to cut something or trim something on the assumption it was always going to be 20-21 minutes and nothing longer.

The only thing I guess they could have cut was (sorry about this Kripkerules) was the Kripke bit and them walking back up the aisle at the end. I guess you could have had them kiss, you get the reaction from the audience and then it slowly fades into that Hawking scene. Even then something else might have had to be trimmed, like the asymmetry stuff might have had to be trimmed a little to fit it in. Would fans have wanted that? Also I get the impression from Holland that project may have some significance next season so to cut some of it might have been wrong.

I don't think any of the parents/sibling introduction stuff could/should have been trimmed or cut.

I think ultimately it shows how tricky it is for them each week to fit everything they want in. Perfect world we would have got a longer episode (that could have some potential downsides as well btw), but I'll take the episode they made and the bonus content I can view

Well I might be alone on this but I was sad for SH death. So what I meant with my post earlier ( okay , it has been a while as I have not explained my posts here so here I go)   was although I wished the SH tag could have been included in season finale,  I  thought  about why writers choose to not include it and my guess was ( yeah I also make speculations , not often but sometimes I do) a mention of a death after a wedding could leave a sad vibe on air and writers might have choosen leave a comedy vibe with the singer Kripke in the tag.

I’d like to wish everyone a good weekend with this: I don’t know if any of you noticed, as there is just so much good stuff in the bow tie episode, but Sheldon called Amy “you beautiful thing” in the dressing room  I only realised this because I have been rewatching the episode with subtitles. This compliment is so sweet and so rare, just adorable 😊

I don't want you to stop lurking just because other people have different opinions than you do. Your posts are quite welcome and appreciated. But Hawking's been gone long enough that I personally think people would have used the moment to remember him fondly. And I seem to remember someone posting a quote in the season 11 discussion thread that the showrunners said all the cuts they made were due to time constraints. I thought Sheldon and Amy responded tastefully and it was a  nice tribute but that's just the way I feel. I don't expect everyone to agree.

Judging by how they acted in the Hawking tribute, if we can judge that since it wasn't in the episode, I don't think Amy and Sheldon will be a whole lot different in the next season than they were in this season. Although Sheldon was a bit more expressive with his feelings, which I hope they continue. I'm still amazed he said he loved her so damned much.

I wouldn't change much really, in some ways they have pretty much been acting like a married couple since Season 10. Just more of the same really, be true to the characters in terms of them being quirky and weird lol.

I'll be interested to see if the writers do make some tweaks now that they are married, whether they are good tweaks or bad lol.

Sheldon's used terms such as 'my mate' 'his woman' 'google Mrs Edison' and Amy's referred to 'my life choices' and 'his mother warned me' . Sheldon called 4B 'home'. A  non-regular viewer switching on at random  to many of the episodes would have thought they were one of the married couples. 

Sheldon loves rules and legalities. I don't think the writers will be able to resist his making some change now that they're officially each other's next of kin and joint property owners. He likes to bring up historical stuff. I can see him looking up mediaeval marriage vows and pointing out that the bride once had to promise to 'be bon 'air and buxom in bed and board' which means that they now have to have coitus every day.

I am hoping that something like this comes up. At least one coitus to make the marriage official

There will definitely be that 😀. Sheldon even said in 11x10 "I do like the idea that our next act of intimacy would be a legal requirement."

I also see him creating a coitus schedule, maybe once a month plus Amy's birthday and their anniversary.

Me too 😊 You know, anything about this and the 15 children can be both very funny and also very sweet or in other words very Shamy.
