I think it might start like that...after all the poor girl was quietly sitting in her Princeton apartment thinking that her boyfriend was in Pasadena doing his stuff, and suddenly opened the door and, bum!

I WTF, followed by a panic attack, like in Prom, seems the least that can happen to Amy. I will be interesting to see how the episode ends and, hopefully, how she says YES!

Only way I see her not being happy with him is if she believes (even if it's just a small part) the motivation for proposing was a reactionary decision.

Now my fellow Shamies we have in my opinion seen plenty of evidence that Sheldon might be ready for such a move, we know he has had the ring for a long time and we also know he has tried to propose before (which she doesn't know about). They are in the best place they have ever been in and with them now living together marriage would be the next natural step forward in their relationship.

So for me and I try to say this without bias I think and feel he is ready for this and that they are ready for this. This wasn't 'a girl kissed me oh I better propose to Amy' kind of guilt trip here. BUT could Sheldon 'talk himself' into trouble here? We know that he sometimes has difficulty expanding on events, sometimes he just tells it how it played out in order without going into detail or more importantly his feelings or thought process at the time.

I think the way he phrases and how much detail he goes into is key here. What he says matters a fucking huge amount, unless the writers of course want to reveal it later after they are engaged that Ramona kissed him which would then put huge pressure on their relationship down the line and make Amy wonder if getting engaged was it for the right reasons.

Again what Sheldon says and how he explains it is a huge fucking deal here, what he says will likely IMO decide the outcome. No pressure there Sheldon lol!

For me the writers will play a bit on Sheldon's love on details and on the way he explains Amy why he is there. If you are not a shipper, a dialogue about the events which led to the proposal where Sheldon tells Amy about the kiss as one of the many occurrence of that day, nothing that had importance to him, not even in deciding to propose, and Amy obviously gets angry about that is comedy gold. For shippers, it might be kind of a torture, instead, since Sheldon's big mouth has caused him more than one trouble, see the break up itself! Anyway, I think everything will be solved within the episode itself, they hopefully will talk things out!

Using @mirs1  last quote, I think everything will be solved witin the episode itself too,  but my money is in tag scene as the scene where we will get Amy's answer. I believe writers will play a tease through all episode as shamy scenes develop, with a possible double meaning in a few ones. 

Less than 3 weeks for all proposal question be solved... oh boy, how exciting it will be!!!!

I'm eagerly waiting for news from Mayim about her voice (her month of vocal rest should be over by now or at least over soon) and of course the first MaJim selfie.

Things to look out for this season: How many MaJim selfies will come from them in bed again?? LOL

Actually it's only one week. They see the scripts six days before they tape before an audience. In two weeks, if we're lucky and audience members have time, we'll perhaps be getting spoilers. Thanks in advance to everyone who'll tell us anything. Hope you have a terrific time !

It's two weeks, the first table read is on August 9th and the first taping on August 15th.

You are not alone on this, hehe! I was thinking like first table reading would be next tuesday all day and then I noticed as I was planning some work stuff as it could not be as next tuesday is August 1 st, lol! At least all shamy s11 excitment is going to begin a few days before I will be on vacations so it will be great as I wont need to hide my phone screen from my boss as I will be quietly enjoying my beach time as I check the forum and IG.

August 9th is going to be a great day!  My Baseball Boyfriend (Kevin Kiermaier) is supposed to return to the Tampa Bay Rays that night!
Unfortunately the first day of school here is August 10 (I go back to work TOMORROW!), so I may be a little MIA then.  I may have to catch up on discussion during the weekend.

Before the album with the song dropped we only had some low quality live recordings and in those THE MOST ADORABLE THING was Jamie Lawson telling everyone how Shamy inspired him to write the song. It was super cute! <3
