Soopysue Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 I hope so too @Jonny ! I'd love to see more of them working together ! And @April I agree I think that you're right & it would bring a nice conclusion to the jealously arc. It's exciting all these things to come ! As for wedding theme, I'm still thinking it'll be very Shamy , not necessarily a "theme" but maybe a nod to both their hobbies / interests ! BUT here's my recent thinking ... You know maybe ( knowing the writers love of parallels) they will have similar to first valentines in that Sheldon thinks Amy will have planned a big fancy outdoors clifftop wedding where actually she has a sweet wedding that Sheldon can relax & enjoy up her sleeve ? Someone suggested maybe a wedding on the Napa train , I love this as it's also paralleling the train trip with that kiss !!!!

Maybe not the Napa train specifically but something that'll make him happy, maybe a cake that is half Star Trek themed (to go with Sheldon's uniform under the tux lol) or other geeky flavoured details. I think I have said it before but my brain between portuguese thoughts and the translation for english sometimes get messy, LOL! Anyway, it would be a very sweet and romantic wedding, both would enjoy it. And a passionate shamy kiss in a train...let me squee a bit! joyceraye Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Trust the E4 announcer ( not Kunal, the usual bloke ) to ask if anybody noticed Sheldon's plane took off with two engines from LA and landed with four in New Jersey. Would he have had to stop on the way and change planes ?

So he may have had to change planes in Chicago or Atlanta (the biggest airline hubs), which would explain the change in the type of planes. I wondered if the people who took issue with the plane had never booked a flight the same day they flew out. I flew from Dallas to Las Vegas and had to go by Salt Lake City and catch the connecting flight. It's happened to me several times and all but once I was on a different plane. The one time it was the same plane was at LAX and I was so grateful because I didn't want to have to navigate through that airport. People I know who've been to the USA have told me you can do that, 'It's just like getting on a bus' is a common saying. Same day flying's not so usual here : flights tend to be booked in advance except for dire emegencies such as an injury abroad. I suppose it's because plane journeys covering those sort of distances from anywhere in the UK would involve getting visas and that sort of thing. Unless you're like Kunal and have them already, I suppose. Sheldon seems to have a return ticket arranged but could confirm later when he wanted the flight home. From what I've heard, when we land at an airport we have to tell them when we're going back or we're not allowed in. If we flew from mid-afternoon to after dark we wouldn't be in the same country. Indeed! And what most made me to ship them was they did not believe much in lovey dovey stuff but there was everything related with that for a strong love to start growing since first meeting! And then how their love grew....awww, hardly I will find another fictional love story so beautiful, powerful and addictive without being too sappy as most of love stories tend to be! Cheers to those that created Amy Farrah Fowler for Sheldon Lee Cooper!! Agree 100%. Neither was looking for a pair-bonding relationship when they first made friends with each other. They bonded over their brains and a shared outlook so they have a strong foundation for when the novelty wears off. Given, Amy appeared to go through adolescence and she reached the romantic stage before Sheldon did, but now they are both on the same page, singing from the same hymn-sheet and they've found the Goldilocks zone together. By that point, I'd already discussed my options with the tour guide, who said they could easily gt me on a flight to Manchester Airport, the same day. Yes it's not too difficult coming home from EU countries and in emergencies companies do go out of their way. Until the recent influxes EU countries were pretty near-to. My Germany story is much less serious. I was once on a train in (Then West ) Germany about to cross a border and a uniformed official was coming along the corridor calling out for passengers to have their passports ready. He looked in the door of my compartment as I was taking mine out of my handbag. He saw the navy blue corner and said, 'Englische, gut' and moved on. Any German speakers please correct my spelling if necessary. I left school a long time ago. Even Mary Cooper agrees:- Now, the reason I called Amy over was to find out what type of person she is. And after chatting a bit, I have to say that while she is a perfectly unique young woman, you two are definitely not suited for each other.
