So, it's a fact...Kaley Cuoco and Sam Hunt are a couple. What else can you think, when two people leave an event in the middle of the night...together...laughing...and flirting. If she wanted, she could date. Ryan's lawyers would have to prove somehow that she started that relationship before the divorce filings. She could even date Johnny, if both of them wanted to but with him, but her ex-husbands lawyers could make a more arguable case of possible infidelity because of their history. If they were trying to get back together, or if this was just a trial separation, it'd be another matter. I strongly disagree that she is still a de facto married woman, even if technically she is in the eyes of the law. I don't know the specific statutes in this case , but I would assume there has to be a distinction as to what their specific (Kaley & Ryan's) legal status is. Also untill that happens neither has been released from their vow, which is the ultimate case of giving your word and like i said some people (me included) still expect thier role models to be just that role models. Very few "celebrity's" are now a days and its a part of Kaleys appeal that while she isn't perfect she is a genuinely nice person people can relate to and allow thier children to admire. The status is that she filed a petition for divorce with her claims. He's filed a petition (whether it was a dual petition with her or counter petition, doesn't matter). Their current legal status is that they are still married, awaiting a judicial hearing. If there isn't a settlement, the hearing will take place. Her legal team will present evidence to support her petition, and his legal team with present evidence for his petition. Based on that evidence, and how the judge interprets the various bits of evidence, the judge will issue a decree on the separation of assets and a final decree ending the marriage. Son-Goku has a good point that she can date, it is well known that they are separated and going out with friends (either male or female) is not likely to cause any suspicion from a judge. No, the others are not necessarily BS. You have to distinguish going out for an evening, dating, and in a romantic relationship and/or how that would appear. It could be her legal team thinks her relationship with Johnny (relationship doesn't necessarily mean a romantic relationship) could be misconstrued, or used as something other than friendship during a hearing, hence the semi-public announcement refuting anything going on between them. Might be the reason why they were next to each other and why not chat while walking to your car(s).
