She very likely couldn't, TBBT contract controls. Unless they only tape at night (other than Monday or Tuesday) or on the weekends. Or they wait until after TBBT ends. They will find something to write about the (grammys come to mind), but she can chose not to do something that she knows would give them ammunition As a celebrity there are somethings She basically has to do such as award shows some interviews and personal appearances.
