its funny how people claim themselves to be animal activists and eat meat... I have no idea.....

This is not a attack on the actress.... I am merely making an observation..... before all the pc police get involved with me :p

I see more and more of this .......where people(especially americans) actively condemn other countries for eating some animals (dogs , whales, dolphins) ...yet continue to eat humungous amounts of pigs , cows etc.....

Kaley is a vegetarian. I curious how you know it isn't a vegan dog?     They have them at craft services on the set, so why not on a photo shoot?  Or how you know she actually bit into the dog?

You can be an animal activist and still eat meat. It just means you want those animals not to be treated like unliving things with being cooped up in confinement with no ability to walk or run if they want to.

Then there are so-called lazy vegetarians. They eat the meat rather than see it being thrown away. The animal is dead anyway.

It's not mentioned on her Wikipedia page.

Reminds me of Raj's comment:-

Hey, an animal can be both sacred and delicious.

As a vegetarian, I would not consider such people to be vegetarians, in any sense of the word.

Likewise, people who call themselves vegetarians, but each fish.

Indeed, fish eating "vegetarians", complicate eating out, for real vegetarians.

I have no problem with going out with vegetarians but what I hate are those vegeterrorists who even look down at you when you eat fish.

"How can you eat tuna?" "It tastes good." "Don't you think about the dolphins who die in the nets?" "I'll eat them as well, they taste great too." "But they're so cute!" "Why is a dolphin cuter than a tuna? Because there wasn't a TV series about a tuna?" "But they're so intelligent!" "If they are so intelligent, why do they swim into those nets?"

If she was a veggieterrorist she wouldn't have dogs, dogs are built to eat meat, not feeding them meat is cruel because it causes malnutrition.  So basically what is the difference if you eat meat or your dogs do, it still ends up killing food animals.

I don't look down my nose, at anyone's food choices.

It's just that, people who describe themselves as vegetarians, but eat fish, lead to real vegetarians being served fish.

That leads to the uncomfortable situation, where you have to turn down the dish, your host has spent ages preparing.

The difference is, you have a choice, whereas your dog doesn't.

There's also the matter of, why you are a vegetarian?

That is the question, if it is an adversion to eating animals then it is a principle a person supports and you have to respect a persons principles especially if those principles only impact the person who has them.  I think the people who eat fish are limiting their principles to not eating mammals, maybe because humans are mammals.  BTW dolphins are not fish, they are mammals, just like whales.

As I say, I don't have a problem, with people who don't eat "meat", but eat fish.

It's just that, when they refer to themselves as "vegetarians", it confuses people, leading to true vegetarians being served fish.
