I was thinking that maybe their press release was very truthful.  Kaley was working TBBT while dated Karl and during the beginnings of their marriage, for an actor that is like a 9 to 5 job.  This allowed them to do the things that brought them together, like horse shows.  However, after TBBT Kaley’s career changed and demanded she be gone a lot more, she started missing the shows and was gone for long periods of time.  How can a marriage work if participants only occasionally see each other.

Yes I believe their statement was truthful but it looks like neither one of them was willing to make the compromises or sacrifices needed to make the marriage work. That personality trait is probably what makes them so successful in their careers

I don’t want to sound like any marriage expert, because I’m definitely not, but while I was in the Military I saw a lot of marriages fail because the Military spouse was gone too much, and it didn’t matter if the Military spouse was male or female.  Just like the Military, Kaley has been going away a lot since TBBT for her career and with Karl doing the same for his horse shows, which Kaley hasn’t been able to attend, it becomes hard for either of them to actually participate in their marriage.  It is easy to see then why they both may have given up if they didn’t see any possible change for them in the future.

That is a pretty accurate description of their marriage and it is also quite sad to see they could not overcome the changes and end in divorce.

Kaley is now heading to Berlin, Germany so there is little time to worry about an ongoing divorce. Perhaps this is the reason for the quick submission of the divorce papers.

That was my thought when I saw she was leaving.  He's going to the midwest, she's going to Berlin, who knows when they would have been in the LA area again, for the press release and the filing.

She had previously said they would film in Iceland, they still might do that.  It is still shocking to me how quickly the divorce papers were filed even though what you say seems plausible. Even if she knew this Germany location was coming up Karl would have been in Michigan for his horse show so they would not have spent much time together if at all. I can now see the reasoning for the divorce but I still get the feeling there was some other factor involved which we may never know.  Kind of feel sad for Kaley as she thought Karl was her ideal mate and it certainly looked that way in the beginning but now I don't think she knows what she wants and she may never marry again

Just saw an article in the Daily Mail (Englands tabloid newspaper) so make of that what you will however the article headed" Kaley cuddles with Pete Davidson after filing for divorce" and they had plenty of pics to go with it. Although some seem to be from the film while others were off set. If this speculation of an affair was a reason for her divorce I think I will kind of lose some respect and credibility for her in MHO

Yeah, have a hard time believing that.  “After filing for divorce”?  She’s in LA, he’s in NY.  There were a bunch of photos from off set while they were shooting.  Hell, Kaley posted some of those herself, and Kaley’s assistant posted or took some of them. But, if they were doing anything, why bring someone along to take take pictures?   I’m not saying it’s impossible, but considering the source, um , yeah, sure.

I remember her posting a lot of pictures of her hugging and partying with people during her first season filming of the “Flight Attendant”, but it had a large cast.  This thing she did with Davidson had a very much smaller main cast, pretty much her and him so her spending the most time with him could make sense.  The tabloids seem to associate anyone she hugs too many times  as someone she is having an affair with so unless Davidson starts showing up at her “Flight Attendant” season 2 filming locations, I’m not going to really believe there is something going on between the two of them.

Yeah I kind of questioned the timing also. She filed for divorce on Friday and she was back in LA, so the pics had to be before she left NY but the article also said these were re-shoots but still last week

Not that I have any real insight, But  I find the Davidson rumors a bit hard to believe. Kaley seems to have a handle on things professionally and this would not do her well there. He has a bit of trouble in his past and she learned the hard way (I believe) with Ryan. He is also 8 years younger than she is (although that doesn’t matter that much. Johnny is 10 1/2 years older; Karl 5 years younger) and when you’re 35 and making your way in front of and behind the camera and your SO is 27 and a comedian/actor with issues...

Again, just random thoughts.

One of the country music nominees was standing behind her and must have made a comment, because she turned and laughed.  There was this whole string of images, with them appearing to be close together.  There wasn’t any othe interactions, they got into separate limos. But the tabloids had them dating.   Or the one where one of the tabloids claim she was dating the guy from archer. Trouble was, Archer shot in Vancouver, while Big Bang was in LA.  Then, while they were supposedly dating, he was posting IG pictures of him in England for the holidays, while she was in LA.  I’m not sure you have your personal assistant shooting pictures of you and a guy if you’re fooling around with him.

The press release said that there was no anger or hostility between Kaley and Karl after the divorce submission but if there was infidelity involved shouldn't Karl be pissed off at Kaley??, just my little thought of this Kaley/Pete thing.

Perhaps the final deal breaker was that Karl wanted to start a family but Kaley's projects was in the way.
