I don't think she would give up her equestrian riding  as she owns a forty acre ranch in Hidden Valley, but I recall her saying after she rode in Kentucky that it would be her last event for quite a while. So, for sure she is planning out her projects

I believe she's committed to her career. She still rides her horses, but competitive riding has probably put on hold for the time being. I know she really loves riding her horses, but when she was married to Ryan, she loved playing tennis. That passion was put aside for her career. She probably still plays tennis, but that was put aside as is her competitive riding. Although, I believes she loves riding her horses over playing tennis.

I guess it was so much more easier when she was on TBBT, with all that hiatus time.

Not just hiatus time.  The actors on the show would have to be in the  building for ~26-34 hours a week (depending on how long a couple of things took (special costumes, pre-shoots, etc).  And only about half that time was them being on set. That would give Kaley a lot of time to do work on other things versus the night and early morning shoots she is having to do these days.  There's also a big time difference between being the executive producer and number one on the call sheet, versus being number three on the call sheet, in an ensemble.  Add in the two weeks on, one week off schedule and there is a lot of free time for a sitcom actor.

So very true!

I think she was being sarcastic but it does sound like she is kind of bitter.

I guess I wouldn’t expect someone to say that who is having an amicable divorce.  I have to agree with you in that it sounds a little bitter.

Deadline announce ( and Kaley posted it) that Kaley will be starting in a new movie.  planning to start shooting in May of next year.   She still has to finish the flight attendant and the Doris Day story is out there, so yeah, she is going to be busy.

Yeah, so busy as is Karl. They probably saw the writing on the wall. They weren't going to be spending a lot of time together for the foreseeable future.

I wonder if she is going to cut her hair short again for the Doris Day movie, I can’t remember seeing Doris Day with long hair.  Do you have any more info on this new movie she is doing, like what it is going to be about, drama, comedy, etc.

she may not need to, Doris’ hairstyle was pretty much the same, they could go with a wig.

as for more information, there is a link in the post above, which takes you to a post in new projects which has a link to an article about the show.

In something I think is more interesting, there is this article, dated July 6:

https://deadline.com/2021/07/kaley-cuoco-in-talks-to-star-produce-studiocanal-picture-companys-high-concept-thriller-role-play-1234786566/

Could this be part of their being pulled in different directions?  Cause if they were in talks, any agreement would probably have been from mid July to early August.

I understand this movie "Role Play" is about a married couple that reveals secrets of their past.  Wouldn't be great to see Kaley and Johnny Galecki in these roles. It would certainly be a reunion of sorts.  Also doesn't she have the rights to another story called "A Season with Mom"?  I can see now how all these projects will take up most of her time so there would not be any time for romance. With this in mind I bet she will stay single for awhile and not rush into another relationship

I would love it also, but I don’t think it I’ll happen.  I did see some folks mentioned, Chris Hemsworth was one.  While Kaley will be producing, Yes, Norman will not be the lead production company.

The Doris Day Bio was announced in March, A Season with Mom was announced in May, and talks for Role Play were announced in July.  Meet Cute was shot in August with the second season of The Flight Attendant starting in Berlin, in September, and currently ongoing in LA.  Not to mention, somewhere in there, she squeezed in an appearance on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

And this is only those things we know about. You know there are things going on with The Flight Attendant, Doris Day. And A Season with Mom that require her to be working in her producing role. So yeah, not a lot of down time there.

That “Role Play” production sounds like a much more serious part for her than the Flight Attendant, something she could win an award for if she does it well, it will be interesting to see.  I’m also looking forward to her playing Doris Day, that should also be very interesting.  Kaley appears to following in the footsteps of Jennifer Aniston in her post sitcom career.  I always thought Kaley was the one that saved TBBT from its pilot and was the breakout star.  Johnny was the established sitcom star, from his Roseanne days, and Parsons, I always felt was a one hit wonder.

I hope she doesn't burn herself out.

She seems to run at 200% until she stops and then crashes.  I don’t remember how many times I saw pictures of her sleeping on the TBBT and during other things when she suddenly had down time, she seems to be able to crash anywhere.

Speaking of Johnny Galecki is there any intel on whether he is going to get back into acting. I know his priority now is being a dad but it seems like his self-imposed sabbatical is indefinite.

While I want to see her in both of these, I really want to see her in A Season with Mom.  Especially, if she could get someone special to play the mother.  Let's see, she would need a blond older actress, with good cheekbones.  Ok, it's settled, Meryl Streep for her mother.  And, if not her, maybe Glenn Close.

As for the Doris Day bio, my mother and father loved her as a singer, so I heard a lot of her.  My mother was also a big fan of all her work (much as I'm a fan of Kaley), and she read the book that Kaley's movie is going to be based on.  When she was done she passed it on to me, and I read it, so I have good idea of the story.  While it wasn't in the book, I found a quote from an interview with Doris' fourth husband. Here it is:

One source of contention was said to be Doris' affection for her pets, with Barry (Comden, her fourth husband) complaining that she liked the company of her dogs more than him,

"She had 14 dogs, and the final straw was when I was kicked out of bed to make way for Tiger, a poodle," he told the Sunday Mail in 1996.

Not saying it is in any way similar to Kaley and Karl.

I would say, at this time, he either will be coming back to LA or is uncertain.  The question will be if he does come back whether it is for acting or producing.  I say this simply because if he was planning on not coming back, he would sell the house instead of leasing it.  This way, with a year lease, he can take time decide if he indeed wants to return.  If yes, he'll have a place to come back to, if no, then he can sell it.

Very much a possibility.

I also believe he is into writing. That may also be an alternative

You know what I would love to see her do is write a book like some of these other celebrities have done ( Jessica Simpson?, Alyssa Milano) She has already lived a lifetime since she was sixteen and it would be interesting to see her views on the bts of Big Bang, her relationships, her success and all her pets and horses.  Another thing that popped into my head is how she felt about this gun accident in the Alec Baldwin movie as when she had to fire the gun in the final episode of The Flight Attendant?
