It's not like Johnny and him were pals before Kaley entered Karl's life. Although Johnny and him did seem to get along great , Karl most likely associate Johnny with Kaley so it's kind of logical he would severe ties with him if he wants to move on with his life. I think this is just a case where Karl does not want to inject himself into Kaley's friends and life. I have also noticed that Kaley has deleted Karl's pictures from her IG account. Their anniversary messages and the photo with the dog Larry from July 4 are gone.
