imdb has changed the status of "Burning Bodhi" from "in post production" to "completed, not yet screened". Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Until they can get a distributor of the film, it will remain completed, but not shown.   That is the problem with indie films.   Hard to get distribution at times, especially if you have no proven track record as a filmmaker.   I watch it regularly to see if any distribution deals have been made, but so far none have been made.  It will take months after a deal is made before it would be shown because of the P&A.   But my guess is at best it will hit the art houses for release if it manages to get distributed, which means very select cities only. It may end up a direct to DVD/Blu-Ray release as well...depends on if they can get anyone to distribute it.

At this time, I can see them trying to get to Sundance or one of the other indie film festivals next Winter-Spring(we have a local one here early spring, that would be awesome). So,  we may not see it until later next year.

I don't know anything about Hollywood but I was wondering if the Lenny characters are in the background this season like last season would this affect John and Kayley careers in the further Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk

No...  First, they were never "in the background" other than from a fan perspective, but from an industry perspective, they were very much still considered main cast and utilized as such.  Second, their careers have been long and established even before TBBT, and both have proven themselves time and again.   So no, it would have no impact on their careers.

Johnny is busy with his production company and has a projects in development (not to star in, but to produce), and he was busy working on a couple of films this summer, so he has been busy in front of and behind the camera.

Kaley took a summer off for a change, but she often works on projects through the summer.  She may have wanted freedom to travel with Ryan and pursue her horse riding skills, and just wanted the summer off, or it could be that she didn't see any projects that interested her as well.  But she gets scripts sent a lot to her.   it is her decision on whether she wants to do the project or not.  But it isn't for lack of her being sought after.

I thought about them going to festivals as well.  I know they hit a few festivals this past year, but Sundance and the big one in France are still coming up this Winter so maybe they plan to take the film there.   It is not uncommon in this business to have a film made and completed and never be shown though.   I have seen filmmakers have that happen time and again.   It is a hard business for a filmmaker that is unknown to break into, even if they have an A-list talent attached to/or in this case starring in the project.

I doubt they'd make her cut her hair if she's trying to grow it out. I'm sure her stylist can work some magic with bobby pins to make it look a littler shorter. Or they could just leave it and forget about that little bit of continuity. Personally I wouldn't care

your right they could just ignore it and a lot of people won't even notice because it still is on the short side.  It is nothing like the drastic change from season 7 to 8.

They very likely will show some final scenes from S8 right before continuing with their story because it supposedly continues just a few hours later.  So continuity will be an issue.   They will either have her wear a wig or cut it.   Actors are used to having to color their hair, cut their hair even shave their hair for roles.   I am sure she can then grow it out after the initial taping if she wants to grow it longer.   But they will want to address the continuity issue.  It is just how they plan to do it remains a mystery to us.

Ya know, she just posted a picture on IG, and she has her hair up in a knot, on the top of her head.  If they take the knot out,  they could probably get close enough around the top and sides to the look from the finale.  They would probably have to put it up in the back to keep it off her neck, but it looks like they could do it.

Yes, I agree, a good hairstylist can do the trick...besides, in the premiere, she is supposed to get married, so she can have a short  veil or a little hat, or something else to hide the hair just enough to make them seem shorter. But I don't think the "continuity" with the finale will be a big issue, it is a sit-com, not a movie, so all the viewers know that four months have passed and people may have changed a little. For example, in the yesterday IG picture of Kaley and Jhonny, he looks way much thinner, to me he has lost a lot of weight...and this can't be hidden with a veil!

Good point, since 9.01 is suppose to take place a couple of hours after 8.24, she could always have put her hair in a knot, so we can't tell how long it really is.  They could even open the scene with her just finishing putting her hair up, therefore no break in continuity.  I guess I'm one of those who likes Penny's hair on the long side.

I think the way she wore her long hair played a lot into what Penny we were seeing.  Her hair down was sexy Penny, when it was styled up, it was serious Penny or when in was in a messy bun or sort of just thrown up, it was relaxed or messy Penny.  The way her hair was styled sort of let me know what to expect from her, the pixie cut was the same every episode.

The Humane Society

Michelle Cho
Vice president, The Humane Society of the United States
“Kaley is one of the most dedicated advocates that I’ve had the pleasure of working with. She is not only generous with her time and social media and other areas of publicity that she’s able to help us in, she’s generous in her finances. She’s so determined to help us tackle some of the most serious problems facing animals today. Kaley’s dedication is truly something I admire. When she hears about an animal issue, she goes all-in. She wants to know the facts, she wants to see the photos, she wants to see the videos. She’s not the kind of advocate who wants to shy away from the sad and often scary images of animal cruelty.”

Kaley Cuoco
Actress
“I’ve always been a huge animal lover. A couple of years ago my eyes started getting opened to pit bull rescue, and one thing led to another. I think what I love about the Humane Society is it’s not singular. It’s every animal. It tries to save wildlife. It saves dogs from puppy mills. It definitely tugs on my heartstrings. Some of the stuff is hard to watch and hard to see, but as someone in the public eye I want to be able to share my voice. So if one person will listen to me regarding the Humane Society or rescue and all these different things, I’m glad I’m able to use my voice for something better.”
