Tripper
I'm pleased to unveil a new fan site for Young Sheldon to provide news and information on the show: https://young-sheldon.com/ Although there will likely be some updates on Young Sheldon on the main site here, we won't be providing the more day-to-day coverage on the show. So I thought it best to create a new site where there can be full coverage of the show with its own episode guide, quotes database, etc. The site is obviously pretty bare at the moment, but as the show starts up the site should grow to have the same sort of content found on the main site here: quotes, character profiles, polls, articles, etc. There won't be a separate forum for the site, so this board will still serve as a place to talk about Young Sheldon. Hopefully as people find the new site, they might also join this forum to discuss the show.
mirs1
Congratulations for the new fan-site, Tripper! I hope it is as successful as the one about TBBT!

Iain Armitage A young acting prodigy plays the role of a young genius convincingly and most attractively. He plays a boy that many adults would detest in a manner that most adults will find endearing. 2. NO LAUGH TRACK :-) After watching the first episode of Young Sheldon I took a peek at Big Bang. My peek lasted till the first mindless laugh track spewed out of the speakers. Then I couldn't get away fast enough. Maybe Young Sheldon (i.e. Iain) could persuade the Bangers to let the audience decide when to laugh?

There are quite a few members here who have attended a taping, none of them are mindless. So, The Big Bang Theory does Let the audience decide when to laugh. That is the nature of the two shows. The Big Bang Theory is a shot with a multi camera set up, where scenes and actor reactions are captured simultaneously, with a live audience. Young Sheldon is shot with a single camera, where each scene is filmed at least twice, once with the camera on one actor, next with the camera on another actor, which doesn’t allow for an audience.
