As for the new season, I'm looking forward to it and a bit disappointed we haven't heard anything specifically referred to S. 11 at SDCC. The panel was fun and I actually didn't expect any spoiler during it, but I was sure after that there would have been some interviews with Molaro and Prady which could have given us some hints, not on the cliffhanger, obviously, but on the other plots. I hope in the next season tptp start again to speak with the press and to advertise the show. Last season I thought they decided to go low profile because of the negotiations going on, but that took a lot of fun away from fans...

Last year's hints were a fat lot of good so I don't mind not getting any this year.

I just know I will be excited to know what's happening. Will Amy say yes or more realistically imo will she ask Sheldon why he suddenly done it now and will Sheldon be honest

Yes, they were, LOL! I was referring more to what could have possibly come out in interviews with professionals than during the panel itself. Hopefully, journalists could have asked something specifically about S. 10, since the panel was more (and rightfully so, it's a huge accomplishment) a celebration of all the 10 seasons of the show, or to some specific aspects in S. 11, for example how Melissa's pregnancy will be handled. I I would have also liked to know more about the actors' take on some aspects of S.10 , like for example the living arrangements.

Disappointed as well. Thought we would get some season 11 tidbits not so much of the cliffhanger but what they might have in store for LENNY and HOWARDETTE and RAJ

Actually what happens will be disappointing no matter what. She says yes she's back at doormat status. If she says no there just dragging the storyline.  Would have brought more life in the show IMO if Sheldon had slept with Ramona.

I had missed all hiatus time and seasons premieres of the show except S 9's and 10's  , as I only started to watch the show when S8 reached the final but I was not included in any tbbt community online for could share my thoughts about the show. However I remember how fun was as I searched for news from the show eargerly as that s8 cliffhanger was something epic that made me want badly to know everything I could about it and there were interviews from writers, actors in magazines, tv channels , yt tbbt fans channels , etc.  It was shared even the tiniest  speculation from a word said by a writer or a hint made by a smile from an actor or actress. What if Sheldon would do as Amy asked for a time about their relationship and what would be the impact of Leonard 's revelation to Penny about a kiss with another woman were really spoken everywhere online , from reliable sources as interviews from staff or only from  the  craziest speculations from fans.

Although there was promotion  for s10, I felt it had decresead compared with s9 and imo the lack of a strong cliffhanger could be what made in someway the staff thought they would not need to promove much.

After a season where happened so many things as s10, where there are so many questions  about some characters 's future, there is a proposal waiting for an answer!,  I must say that I expected much more from  this hiatus what was related with the promotion of the show . I had thought that the living arrangements @mirs1 mentioned would be one of the most spoken subjects from s10 in interviews during the season or as it did hardly  happened , at least it would be discussed in  SDCC panel. 

The show doesnt need much advertisement indeed for keeping good ratings but it makes everything more exciting and interisting imo. Hopefully the situation might change in next seasons but honestly I dont believe much on it at moment.  Maybe they prove I am wrong. I cross my fingers for that.

And obviously it's not possible to gather the cast for a proper photo shooting. That's another thing which annoys me. Some new promotional photos for the show or the DVD/Blu-ray covers would be great, instead of recycling those old pictures from years ago. As a result we get some serious photoshop crimes (IMO) for years now. I could design better covers and promotional posters.

I could easily do that, too! But, let's be real, doing better than the photoshopped rubbish they've served us for years isn't a high hurdle to jump over. lol

But yeah, if they aren't willing to gather the gang for photos or hire someone who actually knows how to use photoshop they could just hire an illustrator. Though that would probably most make sense if they ever make a collector's box set or whatever. They did something like this with the Doctor Who blu ray steelbooks which look amazing.

Perhaps they have nothing in store for Lenny, Howardette and Raj at the moment, that's why we didn't get an info on season 11.

Yes, I'm expecting nothing else. I would be really, really , really surprised if Lenny would be written differently in season 11.

Guys we have been here in 2014. 2015, and 2016, and 2017. We know Lenny in Season 11 we'll be no different to how they have been since s8. Every season it seems. Someone says "don't worry theirs still the second half of the season to focus on Lenny". Or "We'll maybe next season". Nope. Past history is a good indicator of future behaviour. This show has just become very predictable late in its run. I don't expect much from s11. But hey they might surprise me. If they get new writers.

There'd be no point. Whatever they said, based on past performance, wouldn't be true anyway.

Life ? I think it would have been the death of it : ratings would have dropped so much they'd have to cancel the whole thing.

Why. People are only interested in Sheldon not Shamy.  It could be Shamona. I guess no one watches the show for any other characters.

Because they're interested in Sheldon as a character. He is complex,certainly, but adding philanderer to his characteristics would be one OOC complication too many for his fans.

Great point @joyceraye. Many of us thought the same about Leonard and the awful revelation in episode 8.24.

The show raise to is highest point in popularity from the moment Mayim joined. It's because she and Jim (unlike some other pairing in the show) actually have good chemistry together. One needs the other.

Yes that was awful in the context of Lenny getting married. Leonard had had other girlfriends besides Penny and had been to bed with them. Why he had to spill the beans about one kiss that meant nothing when it happened, which was  a year before they were engaged, and thus get Penny all upset at such a sensitive time, goodness knows. It seemed pretty OOC to me. It was unchivalrous to Mandy and inconsiderate to Penny, not normal Leonard behaviour at all. It doesn't even work as an illustration of  Leonard's insecurity since he has spent the following two years being accused of taking Penny for granted.

To me it is not the revelation that is the problem but the kiss itself (or whatever it was, to this day we don't know so it might have been a 2 seconds drunken barely conciouss peck or a long make-out). That was OOC and as you said had no purpose (except for being a cliffhanger). They also dealt with poorly when they started saying that dating Penny got him the confidence to do it...What the...?! Unless they meant he was more experienced with kissing and so when barely conciouss reacted automatically (and even then they would have to explain that they're not blaming Penny) that's just... The whole thing was like excuting Leonard and it completely ruined the already lame wedding.

Umm yeah I completely disagree. The height of the shows popularity was 2007-2010. Why are you so bitter towards Leonard and Penny? I mean honestly. Wasent for them be no Shamy anyway. I personally don't think Jim and Mayim have much chemistry. ALOT of ppl always comment how much chemistry Johnny and Kaley have on and off screen.

Well, it would be enough if all shamies only watched the show for Sheldon and Amy. Personally and I believe it is also @Jonny 's and others shamies's cases, I watch the show for all characters. So I am also looking foward to these interviews and for any news from the show that might be shared soon.
