I watched a few seasons of it. I liked it at the time (1970s). Had Little time for TV in the 80s. They have had it on ME TV on my cable recently. It was a product of its time and is completely out of place in today's culture. Doubt it could fly today and TBBT would not have been allowed in prime time then.

I remember it, and I agree it wouldn't fly today.  However, the physical comedy of John Ritter (may he RIP) was on point.

We won't. If they wanted to do a story like that they had plenty of opportunities last season where Shamy did actually struggle with living together. It's not like they never had any fights but moving back in with Lenny was never in the picture.

Heck, we didn't even get a joke about Sheldon missing his spot or when Amy was away we didn't get Sheldon wanting to go back to 4A because he was lonely or something. So don't worry, Lenny and their kitchen island are safe from Sheldon in 4A.

I agree,  I think The Sheldon living with Lenny has passed, unless its something like a malfunction in 4b and they need a place to stay while repairs are made, but they just did that to move Amy and Sheldon in together, so I don't see that either.

I agree. It would such a massive step back, probably a relationship ending move considering the strides he has made since moving out and the commitment he has made.

So yeah I don't see it ever happening unless like you said something happens to 4B and Shamy have to find somewhere else to live for a while.

I think, if anything, there could be an apartment switch.  I could see them going back to Penny's career issues. They need a cheaper place so she can return to acting so Shamy take 4a and Lenny 4b.  They almost had to move Shamy into 4b to write the next phase of the Sheldon character growth and make it plausible.

I think they are saving a Lenny Pregnancy for Season 12. Penny gives birth in the Final Episode and they move away when Leonard get a Job offer.

That might work. But I seriously don't want or need any more babies on the show. Two (that we don't see) are enough. Several cast members have stated that they don't like to work with babies or don't want to. Since most people bring up Lenny when this comes up, Penny and Leonard have not responded enthusiastically when babies are mentioned that I can remember. The comment about Leonard being sure Penny won't leave comes to mind. Bernadette leaving a baby book at their house and them picking it up and mentioning Sheldon doesn't for sure mean they are thinking about having kids. I'll know when they see the ep. But most of all I can't see these writers doing it without a ton of jokes about how Penny can't drink any more wine or about her getting fat. I don't trust them to do it well any farther than I can throw the lot of them and I just don't want to see that. That is my main problem with the idea.

If I thought it should have ended in season 7 I would stop watching and I certainly would not be going to a forum of a show I no longer care for.

I'm not sure what you mean. I watch lots of reruns of shows that are off the air. It doesn't mean I don't still like to watch them or watch favorite eps when I can. And there's a difference between not caring for some of the things they do and not liking anything they do. I think the show has gone down hill a lot and I wish it had ended last year but there's still some things I like. Yes, if I didn't like anything I'd have left and gone back to the reruns of eps I do like (I did that with Two and A Half Men) but I do like some things still on TBBTand I say when I do. But I'm also going  to say when I don't like something. A forum usually doesn't require all comments be positive.

And they've always got Amy's apartment to fall back on.

Yes, but remember Sheldon hates Amy's apartment.:superstition:

True, but, as Sheldon pointed out to Penny, it'd still be better than "living in a refrigerator box and washing your hair with rain water.

It's most likely gone, paid her notice to her landlord and ended her tenancy agreement.

True, I doubt she has been keeping it this whole time, :blind:plus it appeared to move as well, to New Jersey.

I agree that "Three's company" is not Shakespeare but I always loved it because of John Ritter. He was, indeed a funny (and sometimes disarmingly sweet) man.

You have a lot more confidence in the writers than i do. I think they would do just about anything to keep sheldon front and center besides they could have Amy pleading for him to come back

Not since he moved out. Heck, it's even debatable he did the 1 or 2 years before that - it's not like Lenny had much of a "life" on screen, hence why you guys have been so miserable about your ship for years.

And were you when your ship was so miserable for years. Oh yeah you weren't here then.

Good I hope it stays that way but we will see when lenny used the baby book on him. Must have been bugging lenny for them to use the book on baby sheldon.

So you don't even know what happened in the season but somehow think they have Sheldon barging into 4A or clinging to the place or whatever? Spoiler for you then: He doesn't. Like, really. He's mostly only in 4A when it's a social gathering of some sorts with the gang, then maybe one or two times outside of that, like that one time he's on meds and they find him on the couch. But even then it's not like Lenny had a plot there that he interrupted.

The thing is: Sheldon doesn't need Lenny to get stories or laughs or attention. The other way around though... well...

Well that's your opinion butmine are opposite of yours. I truly think the reason tbbt has gotten so boring imo is that shamy are so boring

Liking or not liking Shamy has nothing to do with how often Sheldon actually shows up in 4A. LOL
