Unfortunately I think they have already begun to go against canon.  I think the younger Sheldon shows much more empathy than his older version.

I know. She already did the bridezilla bit when Bernadette got married. Is there really an interest to see it again? Hopefully the writers will make it the same size storyline as they did for Lenny.

Agreed!!!!! What I was referring to was more they way they should do it. But, what do you expect on a show run by the king of non-canon? IMO, Molaro leaving TBBT is the best thing that could have happened.

So, it looks like it's Sheldon that lets the information of him working with the Military slip somehow, I guess after Leonard asks why he is busy that night he tries to make up some stories, but he gets caught lying.

He's only nine in YS. He has years to build a few walls round him. He's already said it was the night they went to the hospital that put him off driving.  Not all the incidents that shaped his later personality have have happened to him yet.

Thanks for the link. I've been trying to google what 'telegraph the ending' means but I can't get an answer that fits. does anybody know what it means ?

Talking of Morse code, did we ever find out what Sheldon was saying about Howard and then to him, that would have hurt his feelings ? I was pleased he didn't want to hurt Howard but didn't know why. Looks as though Amy didn't learn Morse during her time in the Boy Scouts and Girl Sprouts.

I didn't read the article but telegraphing the ending usually means making the ending so obvious that it is as if they are sending you a telegram with the ending in advance. Hope this helps.

Clarification

It's the "making it so obvious" that you can guess the ending without being told what the ending is.      The flat out telling would be a spoiler.

I think in 11.11 there will be a plot about Halley's birthday party, in Kaley's IG stories you can see the sets...it looks like there are decorations for a children party outside Howardette's home, and also a huge colourful children play!
