Leonard Mc-Actual Cheater is a hero but Rajesh and Sheldon are villains?

Interesting standards.

Beverly invading the novel plot at the end for more Leonard mother jokes is pitiful writing.

Also it's too bad that even with Wil Wheaton back as a rival, they don't really let Sheldon do anything funny in retaliation. Just more screaming at clouds.

Better luck at your next taping, Tensor.

I never said that Raj and Shelly-boy were villains, just cowards. For proof watch them as Leonard confronted Kurt about the money he owed Penny. Where was Howard, Raj and Shelly-boy then? They ran away with their tails between their legs. They haven't improved in the next 9 to 10 years. So, actual cheater (if he did cheat) is better than actual coward (which they are). Ciao!

He did cheat,  that's been proven back and forth even if it was off-screen.

Kurt who? Some filler event doesn't really compare to a major betrayal in a relationship.

Thanks so much for the detailed Spoilers @Tensor as always it is greatly appreciated and it's not lost on most of us that we are extremely lucky to get anything at all. It sounds like you had a fantastic time judging from the tour photos earlier in the week and the BTS stuff. :)

I think its a journey many of us would love to make and I am so happy that you finally managed to go and see one of your favorite shows being filmed live :)

Half  the people say he cheated, the other half said he didn't. Just like half said Shelly-boy cheated and half said he didn't. It's a he said she said. If you don't know who Kurt is,  I recommend you watch Season 1 again and you can be introduced to Kurt. By the way, Kurt was not a filler event, since he was in at least 3 different episodes and mentioned in several others.

What's laughable is Shelly-boy being a hero. He, Howard and Raj are perfect examples of cowards.

Sheldon is my hero... Love him to pieces! Best part of the show.

I don't see what relevance a Season 8 episode 24 storyline and a Season 10 episode 24 storyline has to the Season 11 Discussion Thread.

Those horses have been flogged to death already, focus on the now.

When I read the Leonard plot, I actually felt sorry for Leonard, it reminded me of the episode where Penny read his mother’s book and Leonard had to explain to her why he dressed up as the hulk.  This episode seems to have an underlining meaning on how much damage Beverly did to Leonard as a child and how even now as a man we still see his feelings about it in the book he is writing.  It sort of brings back again why the guys read comic books, the hero’s story is something they want to live so Leonard made himself the hero in his book, the villain, Beverly.

The Leonard book actually sounded interesting, it was the most interesting thing I took from that episode earlier in the season and perhaps the most interesting Leonard storyline in years (Lennies naturally find him interesting all the time, I am not a Lenny).

But I will be disappointed if its been 'Beverleyd' and he stops working on it now, which I suspect he will.

Thanks @Tensor for the taping info. I often forget that these actors say words written on a page for them and are sometimes so convincing that we think they are real people. When the writing is good I really enjoy the episodes. When the writing is bad, it sometimes takes away what I really liked about the characters. I wish they would keep going forward with the character development instead of reverting back a few seasons. I also think Amy needs a makeover lol, but thats just me.   I respect all other opinions, and hope you will respect mine.  Have a good day.

Definitely not mine. :sarcastichand:

Then you are part of the minority. Sheldon is by far the most popular character on the show.

Some may not like him, or hate the overuse if the character (which is an opinion to, one I do not share).

But he caried (and still does) the show, thanks to Jim + the writing.

Leonard the Hero, what a good joke hahaha.
But the episode sounds a bit interesting. we will see how it plays on screen.
I guess you want sheldon the hero that hid behind amy when howard was mad at him or sheldon the hero that tried to take credit for Leonard's idea

Sheldon acted like a coward twice with Kurt

I know a lot of people here know of my medical problems.   For those who don't, I have trouble, at times, walking any kind of distance, say a block or two, without the aid of a cane.  Around the house isn't a problem, or a quick run into the store I can handle.  The people at AU were very kind and I was offered a cart to take me to the stage, it's quite a hike for someone like me.

I was offered a end seat to make it easier.   While we were waiting for everyone to enter, Mark Sweet stopped by to ask if we were ready, and if we were excited.  Something he does as the audience comes in.  For those who don't know, Mark is the guy who keeps the audience "up", keeps them loud, keeps them cheering.  He also fills the time between scene changes with games, a few magic tricks.  He gets people up to dance, and sing.  He also reminds you that when you have to watch the scene a second time, to trying to look at it as if it's the first time you've seen it.   It's a tough job, but he is one of the best in the business.  He does all of Chucks multi cams (there aren't needed in the single cam shows), he works for Johnny on By the Book and also on a couple of other current CBS shows.  I was able to talk to him for about four or five minutes, and he stopped by a couple of times afterward. He even threw me a couple of pieces of candy.

Toward the end of the show, he invited people to come up to and talk about what the show meant to them.  I went up and talked about being into science fiction, comic books, chess, and war games when I was a teen, and also how I was bullied.   But, I mentioned I relate so well to Leonard and Penny because of the way my relationship went with my wife.  I said I found my Penny and we've been married for over 40 years.   Mark was kind enough to give me the last picture for the night, of the cast, with autographs.

I was able to stop and talk with Gary Cuoco  (Kaley's dad) for a few minutes.  I just wanted to thank him for his comments regarding supporting military veterans (I'm a 100% disabled military vet).  We don't agree on everything politically, but I have to give him props on that particular subject, so I stopped and thanked him.

One funny thing was while I was waiting in the outside line, I was explaining our forum and I ran into three people who came to this site, and got information on how to get tickets and where to go on the date of the taping.  So we talked a bit more, we would be talking and they would ask a question and I would have the answer.  They called me a TBBT encyclopedia.  One of the guys, was named, get this, Rajesh.   He was from India  and he had planned this trip for a few months.  It was fun talking to him and when Mark was talking to him, even the crew turned around to listen to his story.

Finally, I want to thank all those who wished me well with this trip.  It has been a rousing success, I've enjoyed myself  immensely, and it's not something I'm ever going to forget.

Ah well, home tomorrow.  I want to apologize for being behind in the ratings, but I'll have them up by the end of the week.  I was also able to work on, and also be publishing the first chapter of a new fan fic on Thursday, three years to the day that I finished "Chew Toy".   Again thanks everyone.

Thanks Rick. Sounds like you had a fab time :)
