Now, now, now, we all know that Leonard is The Green Lantern! Zack was Superman. I can still remember Raj's horrendous Aquaman costume and his insidious complaining about it. "Man, I don't want to be Aquaman, Aquaman sucks". How about the pint sized Howard being Batman! He was so funny! With Sheldon always underfoot, it's not the easiest trip to take.

I’m more avidly watching the biggest reality show. Sheldon turns out to be not so awful really. There are worse people around. And I’m guessing Penny and Leonard set up house together in around May 2019? Can’t wait.

I'm sure that if the guys made him dress as Aquaman again, he would be forced to wear the same costume. It's funny to hear Raj complain and that new Aquaman suit isn't funny. Come on, we're talking about a sitcom! 9 hours ago, Nogravitasatall said: And I’m guessing Penny and Leonard set up house together in around May 2018. chucky
I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Presidents Day. I think the only people who are off today are the Bank and Post Office personnel. Probably the Federal Government as well. But, have a nice holiday anyway! Teachers have today off and so do Librarians which I don’t understand. Where I live Kids have way too many days off. I think they need to cut Columbus Day, MLK JR Day (In the North), President Day and any other holidays that comes on Monday beside Christmas of course and Labor Day and Memorial Day for School Holidays. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Back in the olden days in Alabama, we had all holidays, but instead of President's Day, we had Washington and Lincoln's Birthday off. We also had a day off that was called Confederate General's Day. I know, only in the south! I know, that day don't exist anymore. I got to sub today in the next school system over when the school system I'm in was off. They chose to have the day off before Thanksgiving instead. But I always thought MLK day was a bad idea. He would have wanted the kids in school. No one valued education more. My daughter who works for the county is off and my son who works in a bank is off. They haven't said anything in ages about Sheldon refusing to take his vacation days. Did he use everything he had saved all up when he ran away that one summer or do they expect him to take off for a honeymoon? What about the others? They don't seen to go on vacation much. I believe that Lenny, Howardette and Raj take their vacations, they're just not mentioned. Sheldon is the only one not taking vacations and it's only mentioned because President Siebert really wants him to take his vacation.

3ku11
Looking at the Synopisis for the next three episodes in March. Looks very dominated by Bernies Birth, Shamy's wedding. That is fine. But i guess it is the natural course. The show is dealing with more real world issues now. Like Relationships, Marrage, Babies e.t.c. Some have outgrown or simply tuned out. Say this though if this TBBT premiered in 2007. I would of never watched. I thought the best episode of the season was The Bitcoin Entanglement. So they are capable of delivering good episodes every now and then. But the ratio of gems to fillers of this series maybe filling out fast. With next season probably the last. As I have said before. the light at the end of the tunnel has been seen and the writers are tanking more than delivering. I get some giggles in each episode, but not the hardy chuckle from the earlier years, I'll continue to watch til the end and be sad when it happens. veejay
I think this group of creators and actors created something really unique. Conversations are based on a kind of humour that I really like. Delivery by all main actors was fantastic. But the dynamics and writing have changed (for mostly worse). They seem to be writing in segments for couples now instead of lending to the group dynamic. The magic of the show has mostly been group interaction. Now, with all the coupling, that has diminished. I kinda feel like they used to be characters, but now they're caricatures. I've forgot to mention one important thing for me. Many people seem to pay most attention to a main plot. They look forward to wedding episodes, etc. For me those "breakthrough" moments are often one of the least funny. For me the main plot should be just a skeleton to keep the show consistent and going on. But the Sheldon Show kinda ruined this comedy for me. I think most of the characters were always caricatures. Leonard was kind of the exception a lot of the time. More recently Leonard has been nearly invisible. The focus really shifted to Sheldon. Getting engaged was the kiss of death for Lenny plots. It seems like the writers just moved on. Still they can't entirely let go of Leonard as he holds the group together even if mostly invisible. I really agree Lenny getting engaged was really the end of their long story arch. TO me the biggest loss was the group dynamics. And the loss of the original comedy. I used to be in stitches with this show from 2007-2011. Now its just giggles.
