We've seen Howard's rush wedding and never seen the reception, Lenny's pretty scrappy two with no reception we know of,  Raj's none yet, and Amy's primatology colleagues' reception. At least let us have one wedding and reception that go ahead as planned, please !

Why should Shamy have something the others didn't have? Because they are Sheldon and Amy? Oh yeah right, I see now. They are the chosen couple.

Look this is clearly a polarizing subject around here. The biggest Hot Button Storyline since 4x24. Its divided, some think Leonard cheated (I did), some think he diddn't. But I think its best we let laying dogs lie.

I think the problem here is that everyone has a different opinion of what Cheating is so it always going to be a debate. There no definite answer to it.

Some women have no problem with their spouse kissing another man/women depending on who it is and what kind of kiss and so don’t see as cheating.

I probably should of said Leonard kissed another woman while in a relationship with Penny. My point was Shamy getting married doesn’t mean the writers can’t write Sheldon being a runaway. For the people who watched Friends that sort of happened with Chandler.

What I think is that we didn't see it, so ALL OF US are just speculating. I have an opinion as to what actually happened and how, and even why, but it doesn't really matter because I can never be sure if I'm right or if someone with a different opinion on it is.

Sheldon ran away S7 final. So its possible. Last episode meeting that guy who kinda represented his old life. I am not saying the show would go their. But I don't think should rule it out.

Cannot see Sheldon running away.  Then TBBT would just be a comedic soap opera.  He might get a little cold feet but stay true to Amy.

The actual I do's IMO will take up very little time in the episode. There is endless possibilities. Cold feet is one of them. If i recall for his birthday with the crowd in 4a he hid in the bathroom. Could have Penny go in there and have to talk him out?

Nothing. My point is Sheldon got drunk out of fright when he had to give a speech in front of the crowd. He freaked with a big crowd for his birthday. The wedding should be the biggest day of his life and it would be OOC if there isn't some major drama with him in the finale.

In my two examples above involved Penny. Like it or not she has always had an influence on him. I'm not sure why people are always bothered by "Shenny" scenes. My biggest complaint with them in more recent seasons has been it has taken away from Lenny scenes. But IMO some of the funniest and most touching scenes of the show has involved them. I dare say more than any other pairing. I'm not sure this forum is a true example of the show. Most on here have a favorite ship. JMO most people watch the show just to watch the show.

I may be the only one who actually liked Amy and Sheldon and doesn't want to see a reception. At least not an ep based on one.

Because there are people, and always have been, who want to see these things and they are correcting their lack of this, but I still don't want to see it.

I never know when this comes up because I loathed Friends. I have never to this day been able to watch an entire episode. To add insult to injury a dear friend adored it and when we went to NY together dragged me to Central Park because of that show instead of letting me go to the 9/11 museum. Although I did get to see the memorial. We did a lot of compromising that trip.
