Well that is the way Sheldon is, and it's no surprise he would denigrate the most the person on whom he was most dependent. That's called "manic defenses", he elevates himself and denigrates others to deny his dependency on them.

Well said

Sheldon is as Sheldon is. He will never completely change. His characteristics may deviate a bit, but not change. With this said his actions with Amy will change. But, with everyone else, we'll have the same old egotistical, condescending person.

I can think of 4 actors that did a great job of playing themselves, Nathan Fillion, Bill Nye, James Earle Jones and Bill Gates. There may have been more. That's all I can think of at the top of my head

CHARLIE SHEEN!

The episode sounds good. The only thing that bothered me did really bothered me - the "Penny is a bully" joke. This seems to me like taking the "Penny is mean to Leonard" comments/jokes too far.

Depending on how it's done it could be funny.

Which reminded me, Penny once said that if one of her classmates didn't want to be beaten up (or something like that) , then he shouldn't show up at school wearing a bow tie.

So,  maybe to that classmate, Penny IS a bully.

There was a whole ep about this but I can't remember the name of it at this moment.

I do hope he won't be like that with his children.

...or something like a "Sheldon"?  :shy:

(Oh, I've seen your response to Chucky a bit late.)

The way he was raised he could have come out more Sheldon than Sheldon in terms of narcissistic behavior

Well at least he won't depend on them, and he could see them as a continuation of himself so this could expand to them.

He was good, loved how he put Raj in his place with one sentence,

From what we heard about Penny when she was in school, SHE was definitely a bully.

I love how Penny described herself in school. Not "easy" or a "slut", just "popular". I mean she was dating a second grader while she was in kindergarden. :icon_cheesygrin:

 -  Even as an adult, Penny thought abusing the bowtie boy, the cornfield assault and mocking a stutterer were funny. :icon_rolleyes:
Yes. Penny did those things when she was young not as an adult. She has realised her ways. Everyone has done stupid stuff when they were young. Now we have a young genius victim of intense bulling who should know better, but has now became the bully as an adult.. I know who is the prat

Unless, like his siblings, they turn out dumber that a box of rocks,

No it isn't. His PERCEPTION of things that happen is his own. It's based on what happened, his age, his emotional (im)maturity, etc...

And Georgie may have been invited to his BROTHERS wedding whether there was a YOUNG SHELDON series or not. It's still his (previously referred to) brother.
Non of us know for sure but i think the odds of George getting invited went way up with ys

Here's another possibility for Raj's crying at the end of 11.24... Maybe Georgie (inadvertantly) steals his date at the wedding.

Has there ever been a finale with no cliffhanger or at least person going on a significant trip/story that is expected to continue?

I see the RINGGGGGGG *Fangirling*

That’s his ring with Todd.  He’s not even dressed as Sheldon in this picture.  Although when he’s married to Amy I wonder if tptb will let him just keep his wedding ring on or if they'll make him wear a prop ring.
