I didn't like either of their 'weddings', either.

I'll bet there won't be any interruptions of the shamy wedding and sheldon will say wonderful things that are out of character for him. One more thing the chicken that chased sheldon up the tree was she chasing him because she didn't like him or because she wanted to be his friend. With sheldons memory now it could be either

I was wondering the same thing. Now with the invention of YS, will that lead to all of Sheldon's childhood memories being reduced to utter nonsense?

Last episode shows that Mary wasn't a very good mother. Parenting 101 if you have more than one kid don't make it obvious who your favorite is.

I think she always showed that her baby Shelly was her favorite. I also think that both Missy and George new this to be true.

Well imo YS does kinda make Sheldons "issues" seem slightly exageratted.

God, I hope not. There's been enough of his childhood, as well as Leonard's. Let's just have a nice enjoyable season 12 and if the show ends, it can end on a high note.

I just watched the last two episodes after not watching for 1.5 years and two things struck me:

1.  When did Raj get curly hair?

2.  When did Bernie start wearing pants?

Raj and Howard had a bust up earlier this season, turned out Raj straightened his hair to be like Howard and fit in. So he decided to keep his natural hairstyle and it's been like that since.

@nibbler747 it was episodes 11.10 "The Confidence Erosion" and 11.11 "The Celebration Reverberation" if you wanted to watch them to see how it played out. I'm sure at the usual 'tube place' you will also find clips of just those scenes.

Raj got his hair change but also something else as well.

That is already happening and it's why I don't watch YS much. It irritates me beyond belief despite many of the excellent performers in it.

I DO NOT expect to actually see much of the wedding. I have said this since they started announcing guest stars. We'll see. But I'd be shocked if we really see much of the actual wedding.

I don't think it matters so much about the YS version of Meemaw or the actress who played her in an episode of TBBT. I think the point is that Meemaw is very important to Sheldon and we need to know why she's not at the wedding. For all we know it could be because Amy is holding a grudge from that episode and didn't want her at the wedding. Not saying that is the case, but not knowing the reason for her absence leaves it open to debate. As I said, a one line in a conversation between Mary and Sheldon would take 5 seconds and resolve the mystery of the missing Meemaw. 😁

They did explain why Meemaw wasn't there and even pre-taped a voice message from her; they decided to edit the scene because they were running out of time and I guess, once that scene was cut (after the episode was taped, they were in post production at that point) that remained as a pIot hoIe. No idea why they decided to cut that particular scene and not others, Iike the ones with Denise, but I aIso have the impression that her being in an aIready pretty crowded episode might mean she wiII become a recurring character next season

That settles it for me. Meemaw is NOT important to them as far as TBBT goes, for whatever reason. Take your pick. They are putting all their energy into making her younger self a major player on YS. And I'm not the only one who thinks Denise will be around for awhile.
