Correct, my friend. Bernie first appeared in season 3 and Amy was first seen in Season 4.

I think not.

Incorrect. Amy was first seen in Season 3 (albeit the last episode of S3).

. The writers didn't talk about Lenny's wedding all season 8 or 9 for either wedding. There was no planning all year like shamy's. If you honestly think either Lenny wedding was promoted anywhere near as much as the golden couple, then you need to show me evidence of it. I never saw it. We found out about the Lenny wedding in episode 8/24. Then they threw in that bull about a kiss to screw up that moment for Lenny. Then, in 9/1, the wedding, we get a stupid baby making the episode about him. Will that happen to shamy, NO! So try to say Lenny's wedding, either one, was anywhere near as equally promoted. AS I said, if you still think that, show me the evidence.

Sorry for ranting, but that's disturbing to me, Maybe it shouldn't, but it just does.

I also felt a disturbance in the force about the inequality between Lenny and Shamy weddings.

It doesn't really matter as I was showing she wasn't there from the start.

Yes, this "hymn" is freakin' contagious. Sheldon should be ready for another ear worm. :preved:

Why are they calling a car, a wedding song?  🤪

I personally have no idea. I'm just going with the flow, thinking they know something I don't know.

Perfectly fine idea for Shamy.

Hahahahahaha!  There are only a few of us who will remember the Volare!!  It's sister car, the Aspen, had commercials featuring Rex Harrison in his Henry Higgins incarnation from My Fair Lady.  The Volare commercials, of course, used the song!!!!  Thanks for the memories @Tensor !!!!

Well folks, happy day before Season 11 Finale episode. Last one for Season 11. Sad day, but happy for Shamy.

Yeah,......and we all have a long summer hiatus to complain. :icon_cheesygrin:

(also, Signor Orefice, our high school Italian teacher, will appreciate my having the Italian version of the song going through my head!  Every Friday was "Italian song day".  One of the songs we learned in Italian was "Happy Together" another song with an [unfortunate for us Lennys] TBBT link!!!!)

And away we go. Some of us have not waited for the summer hiatus to begin complaining. I was never one to wait. As Richard Rawlings says in his show, "Let it rip, Tatar Chip". 😊

Penny, compared with Bernadette and Amy didn't seem as keen on preparing for a wedding. I've heard many actors are only happy being on show when they can be somebody else. It took her ages to accept the idea of getting married, even.  Then she used her brother and parents as excuses because she wasn't bothered about making arrangements.  ('Bernadette, sweetie, shut up.' ) Leonard was right if he decided not to push her for fear she'd change her mind, if that's why he didn't talk about it. Acting  immediately  on apparently impulsive decisions was in character for Penny. She said she  only wanted a very small affair for the redo she agreed to for Beverly. I think  Penny got what she wanted and so did Amy.

I don't think Penny wanted Mandy part of the storyline. Nor did Lenny fans want half the episode to pertain to Shamy.

Well, the issue is that Lenny fans didn't get what they wanted. Can't fault them for being disappointed. Even if the writers priority was a low-key wedding to fit with Penny's character they still could've gotten around to it in a more satisfying way.

JMO but fans of the show should be disappointed not just Lenny fans.
