[Spoilers] Season 11 Discussion Thread

It seems to me it's so easy for people to disregard 11 years of TBBT history and what was written and seem to want to take what is said in YS as gospel. To me anything attached to YS is bull crap. I don't watch YS, I've never watched YS and I never will watch YS. So i I'll just ignore anything posted on or from that show. Pretty much the same as I do with Roseanne. I will not comment on those subjects from this moment forward.

I have never seen an episode of YS and never will. But my point was that tbbt is been used to promote YS in a big way and it will continue, hence more sheldon centric episodes in S12. If you want to disscus further, let's move it out of the lenny thread.

So what do folks think of Penny’s dress?  Brides’s Maid’s/matrons don’t usually wear white, but with Amy’s over the top outfit it is okay because there is no confusing who is the bride.  I think Kaley looks very cute, although with a choker collar, somewhat high waist,  and cap sleeves the dress is at least as appropriate for a kid.  They put her hair up so it doesn’t look like the bride’s and have her in flats.  I guess you could say that is for Leonard, but it sure looks like they tried really really hard to make her look sweet and not sexy.

It reminds me of a dress a child would wear to a wedding. I don't like it one bit. It's just boring.

Or at the first Lenny wedding. especially if he was at Howardette's house to view and witness the pandemonium that happened at that viewing. He definitely would have laughed his ass off.

I am just so glad we know it's all going to end up with the pair married. If it weren't for the spoilers the anxiety would have got the better of me by now and I'd be on so many meds I wouldn't be awake to get the episode. Thank you everybody who ever writes any spoilers for us ! 

I'm looking forward to the next one in August to see how our gang fares now there's only one bachelor among them.

Penny's dress is a shade of pink. You can see it best in pictures with Amy.

I'm assuming from the cap sleeves and the covered neckline it's one of the ones  Amy's cousin Ida's bridesmaids would have worn.

It's very non- Penny. I've heard the joke in US sitcoms that the bridesmaids are supposed to wear ugly dresses. Wardrobe have done a clever job.  I wouldn't say this dress is ugly : it would look sweet on the right person. Good for Penny for not complaining. She's going along with Amy's taste.

What does surprise me is Amy's mother in trousers.

It was either white or a very light pink. I think it was white, She did look good in it. Loved the expression on Sheldon's face upon seeing Mark Hamill. Luke definitely nailed it. Great Episode.

After seeing the dress next to Amy's, it does look pink. To be honest, I was looking at the Matron of Honor and not the color of the dress.

It was a perfect wedding. No one interrupted them. No one caused others to miss any of it. No one got up and insisted on hugging the bride and groom as a part of the ceremony. No one made snide remarks DURING the ceremony. Vows went on and on and were lovely......
