These actors always say they don't know what will happen next during the hiatus.

I was just making an inside joke, that I'm sure Shamy fans got, about the fact Mayim is not very good at "pleasing" the fandom by telling them what they want to hear. We all know actors don't know anything about the episodes before they get the script.

Oh.

Going into season 11 and approaching Dec. 2017 the question on my mind is will they work in The Last Jedi?
They have had Carrie Fisher and James Earl Jones; can the get Mark Hamill?

Will Amy or Penny go to the opening of Star Wars 8?

If Amy is smart she would say no.

Actually, according to The Big bang Theory spoiler site there will be at least 3 major storylines that will be given emphasis in season 11. First, Amy will give Sheldon her answer to his proposal, second Raj will continue to struggle with his finances and problems in finding a new lady love, and third Penny and Leonard will think about starting a family and try things that will turn their plans into a reality.  I guess we can take this for what it is worth......maybe just speculation

Weren't we talking in here a few days ago about a possible plot for Lenny involving starting a family? It wouldn't be the first time some unreliable source took our wild summer speculation or wishes for actual spoilers...I still remember the rumor about a possible car accident involving some of the characters at the beginning of S. 9 that was generated by some rants of both Lenny and Shamy fans after 9.1's TR, LOL!

Sometimes I feel like we should make our own Herb Garden experiment - just invent some outrageously crazy storyline, "discuss" it for a bit here and then wait and see how long it takes until it's brought back to the forum as a legitimate spoiler from some "insider". lmao

Probably I would like that better than The Herb Garden Germination itself, we have spoken in the Shamy thread that I'm not really a fan of the episode. But to be the masterminds behind an experiment actually sounds like fun, LOL! Let's start...

LOL! Maybe like Shamy we should start 2/3 different ones... Like Shamy realize their application to go to Mars, Raj makes Bernadette go away for some time to win Howard, Lenny have quadruplets...

Hehehehehe, is this like trying to look something up from the show, and when you google it, you find a link to something you've written on the forum?

What spoiler site?

I still remember, back in season nine, trying to change comments at the TBBT wiki,  about an upcoming future show.  Someone had the wrong title, wrong plots, just wrong everything (we had the TR).  When I mentioned this in the comment section, I was told I didn't know anything, that the person who put it up had access to the script, and knew people that worked on the show.  We went back and forth for quite a few comments.  When the actual news release by CBS came out, I again commented on the page.  They took the whole thing down, and created a new page with the correct information.    TBBT wiki site regularly uses any TR that shows up here, without attribution.  Until we complain, then they give attribution.  I've wondered what they would do with a false TR.  But, there are other places that also use those,  as we've come to be known as reliable, so I wouldn't want that to happen.

I've only known one person who was able to regularly get us infomation before the cast even had the script.  They would get us the "sides".    For those who don't know, "sides" are small portions, of the script, that are used in auditions for the smaller parts.  Things like airline representative, when they couldn't find Howard's Mother's ashes, or the maitre d, at the restaurant who called Penny ma'am or the sales clerk when Sheldon couldn't decide on the X-box or the PS4, probably all auditioned using "sides".    The only problem was the person who had them asked that we don't put them up publicly, but we could "speculate" about it.   When certain members speculated, regular, long time members knew what that meant.

Great job Tensor.  We are putting the horse before the cart. Until we have a taping report from someone who attended, it is all speculation....

Really?!?!?!?!?!? I'm not a Shamy, but I loved that episode! Goes to show one person's trash is another one's gold. And vice-versa, of course.

How about starting a rumour that Raj's notes for their future when they played the murder mystery were really facts that he knew about because the time machine was real and he'd used it ?  In season eleven we're going to see them start to come true. It begins with a casting director coming across Penny's old advert  and the bits from the cutting room floor when she was in a TV drama. She is given a part in a movie and leaps to stardom, leaving Leonard behind. In season twelve Leonard gets tenure at another university and Amy's notified that the research she did at Princeton has earned the whole team a Nobel prize. We can't say how we know for certain the writers have decided on this story, just that a little bird told us they were taking a long term view in preparation for the end of the seies.

Haha but he had two versions for Lenny, you could say he gave the first one to get them to think about their future or something and that the other one is true because he invented it so fast. Also we could say that knowing Halley is a girl before she was born is a hint and that he invented seeing it in their folder.

Don't know the site but article was in IBTimes, so like I said take it for what its worth, could be made up ideas or pure speculation.  Thanks, Tensor for yr usual expert analysis

Love to see Penny get her dream job, but she is a little old as an actress to make it big now. There are a lot of younger actresses out there. That's why I though she could become a nationally known spokesperson for her company. That would fit their current story line.

Not necessarily. People can make it big at any age, even if the parts she would audition for would have to be different. I know it's more common for younger actresses to succeed, but something to take into consideration also is that there is much more competition for roles at a younger age.

As Goldie Hawn's character said in The First Wives Club, " There are only three ages for women in Hollywood - Babe, District Attorney, and Driving Miss Daisy."  I wish things had changed since then but they have not changed that much. I don't think Penny fits any of them at the moment. Publicity for her company, I could see. Or she could do more con appearances for Serial Ape-ist and have that lead to something better. It seems to be turning into a cult classic, after all. And I'd like to see some better con scenes than they did the last time.

I disagree (with Goldie Hawn's character and by extension , you). Penny is the same age as Kaley which sort of proves the point that actresses Penny's age can actually not only make it , but make it big.

She may has some role models that contradict the common cliches.
