What is trabajadora? Talants?

Trabajadora means hard working.

Haha. Couldnt agree more. Sheldon seems to be "evolving" backwards...into a toddler.

Sheldon's career is a total bust and there is nothing going on in his professional life. He used to be so big into numbers and solving the mysteries of the universe and obsessed with his whiteboard , now he is dumbed down , needy and jealous.

I guess the psychic was WRONG: "committing to amy" did nothing for his research or inspiration or career.

They have already have child/dog sheldon jokes in the season 10 finale, combined with him squealing over "play date " with Ramona,  being given a time out by Amy,  being infantalized by distracting him with trains, climbing into bed with Lenny because apparently he is scared of thunderstorms, .....and what not....he will successfully turn into a toddler by the end of the series.

Its only fitting that they turn him onto the same mental level as Bernadette's unborn child and Lenny parent him. Imo they are ruining the last bits left of a once beloved award winning character.

I think it's all part of a master plan, as the end of season 12 approaches he will turn into: "Young Sheldon"

An episode where Lenny have some sort of parental role with Sheldon? Wow! Comedic gold! Surprised its taken this long for the writers to come up with this idea! Gosh! I can't wait to see how this plays out! :suicide:

By the time they air the last episode, Sheldon will be in diapers and doing his equations in crayon...

I love that Penny is sitting on her old acting chair! Where has that been moved to? It hasn't been shown in 4A, and I haven't seen it in 4B anymore, so...

11.01 - "The Proposal Proposal"

11.02 - "The Retraction Reaction"

11.03 - "The Relaxation Integration"

11.04 - "The Explosion Implosion"

11.05 - "The Collaboration Contamination"

Got it, but that's 5 episodes, and 48-5= 43 and not for 39. If I'm not mistaken, that's the reason for the question.

It's had an AMAZING run, and has changed the lives of it stars, as well as given us going on over a decade of entertainment and enjoyment. I don't know what I'll do, when it leaves the air.

You're right! lol I've been up for the past 12 hours, and just got home from work. Looonnnggg day! lol I subtracted from the 44 episodes someone mentioned earlier, when I should have remembered the 48 episodes it has over the next 2 seasons.

To be perfectly accurate, in my case (I'm talking exclusively about just me), it was 7 years of (varying degrees of) entertainment and enjoyment. S8 through S10, I've watched due to misplaced  (on my part) loyalty and (naïve) hope.

...Johnny G's comment was interesting he said "only a couple handful of episodes left ever".  We don't know how many episodes are contracted for in Season 12, do we???  I wonder if it will be a season with fewer episodes???

I think if it wasn't a full 2 season order the press would have got wind of it.

Or Howard and Amy singing Neil Diamond. More comedy gold. Maybe they can have an episode with Leonard thinking he is not worthy of being married to Penny. The writers genius is rubbing off on me now.

I know the writers have gotten lazy on far too many occasions and they treated the characters as caricatures and they go for the 'easy' joke.
If TBBT would be a tightly written show spanning 5-6 seasons, this might had been avoided. Instead, the writers have to stretch it out to 12 or more, so we will get more of this Comics level of humor to fill in the episodes.
I expect nearly the same procedure as the last three season's. But I won't let myself get carried away to proclaim: "I don't actually pay any attention to what happens. I just look for things to complain about."
I still enjoy the show. Should it be funny, well, they will hit me again.
JMO.

A new interview from Holland. Nothing really new, but it's good to hear from him...

Some of this is quite interesting with all the talk about not relying too much on old formulas and trying new things and in places I feel they do try to shake things up a bit (not massively so far, mind you). Gotta see how the first episodes really play out then, especially the ones where we only have rudimentary spoilers. It's easy to jump to conclusions but often things look better on screen than in a rough summary where everyone is bringing in their own preconceptions of how things will look on screen.

"One of the unique challenges Holland will have this year is finding ways to still bring all of the characters into storylines together, given the fact that most of them are in committed relationships that will require time spent one-on-one with a spouse, as opposed to a big group of friends."

I find this passage in the article remarkable. :shy:

They already had a bunch of the more unusual character combinations in those few episodes so I'm actually optimistic about their dedication here. :D

As @April said,  trying unusual pairings (Sheldon/Howard, Bernie/Amy, Howard/Amy) in the first episodes goes in this direction. I would love, anyway, an old style group episode this season...One of the things I didn't like in S. 10 was that there was a very strong division in the story lines, usually 4A/4B vs Wolowitz's house, so I would love to see all characters goofing around together for a whole episode!

Yes, that was also noticeable to me and I have no doubt that I'll prefer rather to watch this than a renewed accumulation of the common pair development. :shy:

Holland tells Variety. “These characters, over 10 seasons, have honestly grown and changed and taken on a life of their own, and my job here is to honor and protect these characters.”

Then, perhaps they should begin with halting the deconstruction of Sheldon. :girlcrazy:

I hope Mr Holland realize that the main cast is seven people strong (not just two people) and that they all need decent material to work with

I'm all for some of the less seen pairings/interactions as long as the storylines are interesting.

It's clear they have done some of that this season already, it sounds very mixed up and a little different. Remains to be seen how interesting some of them are or if they are more miss than hit, honestly I could go through all 10 seasons and find episodes when I thought under the two storyline per episode setup commonly used one was way better than the other.

Liking the sound of some of them so far, some others perhaps not so much. I won't know for sure until we start to watch them and that starts next week! :)

In the article he mentions Sheldon's proposal and Howardette's  new baby but nothing about Lenny. Are they really going to cast them as the secondary storyline or actually have meaty stories but can't give anything away.  This seems just the type of plots that JG was hesitant about.

Thank you for the information, BigBangFan24!

Sounds like somewhat of a "meh" episode. Howard/Amy plot sounds interesting. The rest of the episode sounds kind of cliche, with jealousy and such. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see. It may be interesting.
