3ku11 Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 (edited) Not sure it we'll. Lenny getting married diddnt really bring new storyline possibilities did it . Sounds like he wants to preserve all the characters, and bring more balance to the show. That's bold lol. But I'll believe it when I see it. The tapings suggest more fair screen time with the characters. But I'll believe it when I see it. Are they really going to cast them as the secondary storyline or actually have meaty stories but can't give anything away. This seems just the type of plots that JG was hesitant about. There wasn't really a cliffhanger concerning Lenny this time so the focus was bound to be on the proposal after four months of waiting.. But for Melissa's pregnancy there probably wouldn't be anything about Howardette to talk about either. Lenny's turn comes next week according to the TR and the photos. vonmar Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 From TV Guide The Big Bang Theory's New Boss on Young Sheldon Crossovers and Season 11 The Big Bang Theory underwent a big change between Season 10 and Season 11, which kicks off on Sept. 25. Longtime showrunner Steven Molaro moved over to spin-off Young Sheldon full-time, and executive producer Steve Holland took over showrunner duties. But Holland has written for the show since Season 3, so he knows how to make Big Bang, and Molaro and co-creator Chuck Lorre are still involved. What I'm saying is, it's the same show in Season 11, and fans won't notice any hiccups. In fact, Holland's tenure starts with the resolution of a cliffhanger left over from Season 10 -- Amy's (Mayim Bialik) answer to Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) marriage proposal. TV Guide talked to Holland about what's coming up in Season 11, when we'll see some TBBT/Young Sheldon crossover, and if we should be worried that Amy won't say yes. <Q & A with Steve Holland....full interview in the link>

Judith Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 I wonder who's the unofficial guest star. My first thought was Stephen Merchant but maybe it'll be Sheldon's brother or Amy's dad.

3ku11 Posted September 22, 2017 Posted September 22, 2017 We don't need to see Amy's relatives. Even on their wedding. Im not really interested in seeing Newhart again.

In that Amy's answer was pretty well taken for granted, true, but the proposal coming when it did suggested it was designed to sow a little doubt. Perhaps we were meant to wonder why it wasn't just a matter of routine like the other two ? In the hours since Shamy would have Skyped each other, could something have happened to throw a spanner into the works ? Would Amy faint with shock or want to discuss the state of play re Ramona ? And reassurance. Firstly, Sheldon didn't inflict his opinion on Penny and Leonard. They actively sought it from him. Nor did he give Penny any "reassurance". Secondly, Sheldon's advice was pretty much correct, ie. that the only way to determine if the date was a good idea, was to go on the date, and see how it worked out. What other advice could he reasonably have given them? But because her abuse is ONLY emotional and psychological it's not despicable but instead humorous? Not to mention that she dosent just profit from her child abuse but makes a career of encouraging others to abuse their children as well. No she isnt funny she is just a sick bitch who should have been bared from practicing psychology and sent to prison years ago
