I was so mad when they killed off her character in Sleepy Hollow. But I couldn't stand seeing her with Raj. I didn't see anything good about it. So, what did you like so much? Please remember I came here when IMDB boards shut down so I may have missed a lot of this discussion.
Swedish Chef Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Saw this episode on Swedish television tonight and I thought it was pretty good to be honest. Really liked how Lenny used the parental book on Sheldon with great results.
JohnPhD Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 Last week I predicted " it will be as tho the Penny-Beverly bonding never happened. " It gives me no pleasure to be right. This week Penny was given a reasonable amount of screen time but nothing much to do with it. Penny used to be passionate and volatile, now she's preternaturally calm. Like her total lack of reaction to Leonard's snarky remark about her reading a book. She could at least have said something like, "sweetie, you do know those comics you read aren't real books?". Or better gone off on one and L have to make it up to her in some extravagant way. And treating Sheldon as a child never gets old (sarcasm). IMO, in this episode, they should have done that. I usually don’t agree with Glamour, but this article has some points about degradation of Sheldon in season 11 : https://www.glamour.com/story/the-big-bang-theory-season-11-episode-5-recap Spot on. Sheldon was brilliant as a stand-alone character, commenting on and interfering in Leonard's romances. He never needed a romance of his own, and it doesn't work. I detest The Taming Of The Sheldon. You choose your words well, sir.

And he's a scientist, comic books are certainly not the only thing he reads. (And I'm a woman, BTW)

Also, Leonard has a cheek commenting on Sheldon's choice of shampoo, when he uses Darth Vader shampoo.
Jonny Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 You can like more than one musician lol. Aren't Neil Diamond and Neil Sedaka a similar type of music anyway, so chances are if you like one you might like the other? I don't think its an error by the writers. And they seem to like oldies. I like them together. It's a good unusual pairing.
Stephen Hawking Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Given what happened last time, I'm not sure it's a good idea for Howard to be working on robotic hands. 😁 On 10/27/2017 at 4:17 AM, 3ku11 said: I want Emily to come back I loved her for Raj. I preferred Lucy. She was pretty, cute and sweet. Emily was pretty, but she was also creepy.
