I haven't yet rated the episode conclusively, but it felt like Penny was talking to me too.

He can be naive and tends to think the better of people as a default. As I said this episode showed that he is not good at "battling", seeing the other as an opponent, especially when it's a "friend". What we have seen in this and other receng episodes explains his general behavior and is a big plus for me in season 11 - Leonard is more fleshed out. It's not like I didn't know these things about him to a certain degree but this season makes things clearer so I hope people who arr less Leonard fans will get a better understanding of his behavior. He's not knuckling under just because... it ties with his character, his past (which is part of what made his character...) and his worldview.

. You sure about that. This episode in how they portrayed Sheldon seems pretty consistent with the rest of the series. Sheldon was selfish and outright a jerk for going behind Leonard and Howards back. I don't see how that is Sheldon being out of character. Very in character.

Perhaps the central heating system (not sure they have that in Pasadena but whatever) has broken down, after all the elevator has been broken for over a decade.

Yeah I have noticed that too. Penny's confinement to behind the kitchen. Is her feet glued their? Lol. I would rather see more of Leonard and Pennys bedroom too. Has Penny been out of 4A this season? Maybe once.

Well i'll start with what I did like about the episode and it was the scene between Leonard and Penny , when Leonard made a joke and Penny said 'I already pretended tolaugh at that joke once do i have to do it again?. Leonard replied ' Yeah i'd appreciate it' even though Penny then pretended to laugh at his joke Leonard seemed happy no the less. Now the rest of the episode wasn't good, Leonard and Howard where rightfully angry at Sheldon for working with military behind there backs using there project as a basis. Howard's comment to Sheldon in 4B was actually spot on . I did feel sorry though at the end they all got screwed over by Kripki, I also felt sorry for Raj having another relationship end. Now for the thing I hated most in the episode Sheldon's insult to Leonard when he said if where going to call Tesla crazy  for loving something small and unappealing, we might as well put Penny in a padded cell right now. I didn't find that remotely funny it was actually quite rude and insulting , but what made it worse was Penny found it funny,

Do you know how the show looks like these days? That was found a notebook of storyplots from s6 lost behind a scenario from the set and the writers decided to use them this season and only write original stuff for s12! What a lack of creativity and good execution of the storyplots!

The dialogues have made me cringe more than I wished and that sense of "let put the charaters fight and be offensive among themselves because it will surely be fun" in this episode ,,,well it did not please me a bit and the worst was I laughed once in the whole episode....

All guys imo did wrong about their work project and I dont think they learned any lesson from it for the future as the show these days live of repetitive plots and jokes. I wonder why all characters (at least for me) look like s9 and 10 did not happen. I know continuity is something not always followed on the show but this season seem cut and past pieces from old seasons as they dont make any sense for most of things characters were living by the end of s10.

BTW, I hate what they are doing with Bernie. The character needs bed rest but it doesnt mean she has to sound so violent or paranoid. Imo it doesnt suit the character we know from since s4. She is smart and also sarcastic but not so rough....

 

And what was the point of Ruchi on the show? Imo is the bigest mistery of the moment..

I disagree with some of your comments but mostly about Bernie. There have been many times her meam side was shown. You are right that she's not like season 4 Bernie but that character is not so much the Bernie we have come to know, in many respects.
