Pretty OOC for Amy if you ask me. The episode was meh filler. I well post my thoughts later on. Last weeks was much better.

I was not really into the Shamy Story. I mean for one I am not really that interested in them wedding planning. Their are some who would liked to be spared a big wedding. And I Diddn't think it was neccessary. For them to argue. Then go to City Hall. Only to back out last moment. Amy seems to be the type to want an elborate wedding. So would not make sense I Guess if they went through with it. Sheldon was acting like a spoilt little brat most of the episode. Before they came to a compromise.

I actually really liked the Raj Story. For once he showed some character development. That new job good progress for him. I diddn't mind the Howard/Raj plot as well. But I can't say Raj can displace full blame on Howard for his lot in life. Sure Howards negative energy has effected his self esteem. But Howard is not at fault for his failed relationships. OR his failed career. I actually could of done without the Shamy Story. And more focus put on the Howard/Raj Plot.

Lenny were great. I loved for the first time Penny was self aware, of her being mean to Leonard. And corrected her behaviour. It was cute how she gave Leonard a compliment. And they really played off each other really well. And came across as a married couple. I liked when they were in the Orbitary. And Penny called Leonard sweety. Their is something different with Penny this season. Can't identify it. But she is less snarky. And her tone is more lighter and kinder particularly towards Leonard.

I thought it good but what a great big tease for those of us hoping to avoid a big wedding.

I was like right on! Then they did not go through with it.

The Force Awakens did get a mention.

I liked Raj's story for a change.

I really enjoyed this episode as all characters interactions were really great imo. The girls night, the Raj and Howard  , shamy, lenny, I felt like the episode as a whole, like these characters have influence in  each others lives by love or friendship bonds, with the issues relationships usually have, something I have not felt about the show this season and final this episode allowed me to feel it.

My thoughts about Shamy were shared in its thread for shipper and upcoming spoilers reasons. I would like to add that  I am impressed with Raj's plot. Finally he is doing something for changing his life for better, even it holds a bitter tone what is concerned to one of his friendships.  It was heartbreaking to see Raj and Howard apart but I think it was realistic.  Sometimes there are friends that need to feel their friends would need more a helpful word than a laugh of a repetitive joke. I hope they sort things out quickly but Raj needed this and I very glad for him. Finally they gave to his carrer some meaning time, which I wished for ages. Hopefully we might see a happier and less siĺly Raj next times.  The character deserve a chance of improving and Kunal deserve his highlight time as well.

I really enjoyed it, although not so much on the Lenny front.

Girls Night was nice, a little touch of Bernadette to keep her there. It was also nice to me to see Penny in 4B as a guest, like in 11×02. It is now natural she lives with her husband, after so many years of it being dragged out it is nice.

I thought the Shamy scenses were great. Funny in the quirky Shamy way and very sweet in the end but a Sheldon sweetness and not something that seems OOC just to make him the allmighty hero. I also LOLed at "He's dressed differently". Classic Sheldon.

I think Raj is exaggerating but does have a point. Howard can cross the line at times but the way he abruptly cut things with him was too much IMO. I guess I'm kind of with Leonard on this (and I guess the writers too, Leonard is used as their approximate many times, he is the main straight-man charcter of the show), Howard is too mean to Raj at times and it is good for Raj to stand up against this but breaking their friendship this way is too much, their best friends and Howard cares a lot about Raj.

Now for Lenny... I expected better. When I read about the Raj-Lenny scene I thought Penny looking at Leonard after Raj says he and Leonard shouldn't take the insults anymore was out of a sudden fear about loosing Leonard or something but the way it played out...I didn't know what to make of it. The compliments scene (well, brief moment) was very sweet, it showed that Penny cares for her husband and tries to change her ways for him and it was cute and very IC that Leonard didn't know how to handle that. But then came that comment in the observatory that was actually a barb. We have also seen Leonard making science interesting for Penny in "The Holographic Excitation". He doesn't have the effects of the observatory and cannot talk only about the most interesting stuff for all the years they have been together so a reaction that basically means "you make science completely uninteresting" was too much for me.

I just saw the Lenny scenes as light hearted banter, but that is just me.

I liked this episode. I liked the Shamy interaction and Sheldons speech about dark matter, basically saying that Amy is the light in his life. I liked the Raj storyline and that he did just fine without Howard. I liked that Lenny were supportive friends. I still am trying to figure out why they have changed Amys look back to a few seasons ago with the poker straight hair  (I liked the softer look and the dresses that made her look still geeky but more modern). Over all a good episode when I was becoming disappointed.

I liked it, too. I think something new is good for him. I didn't mind the Howard/Raj plot because I often think Howard goes too far. Some of the fat jokes he used to make about his mother made me cringe. He can be very mean.

Yes, and I think Jim especially nailed it when he sat down to wait and you could almost see him thinking. I thought when he asked Amy if she would miss  a real wedding she would say yes. Him changing HIS mind was a better choice.

BEST line in the entire ep was the clerk saying, "I'm going to go out on a limb here..." I thought that was very funny,

Have we confirmed how much time Johnny is spending on Roseanne? I don't expect a lot of him for awhile, but maybe I'm misinterpreting what is required.

It was a okay episode the Shamy stuff was mostly entertaining, although I knew even though Amy suggested they get married at city hall that it was never going to happen . There wedding will be some huge event not something that's similar to the other couples. It was good Raj decided he had enough of Howard's meanness and stood up for himself, although Leonard gets it from Howard as well and Sheldon and Raj and Penny. I was disappointed in Leonard and Penny , Leonard for after telling Penny she was mean to him bottling it and just letting her continue.  Although she did try to stop and be more nice to him instead , but it didn't last long and that comment she made at the at the planetarium to was mean and goes against how she felt when he showed her  the hologram.  As for the girl at the end , will see her again ? I doubt it.

I don't think she was being mean in the Planetarium. And Leonard's reaction diddn't suggest that either. IT's just their unique banter. Penny does not mean any ill will with what she says. ITs just her character. I don't think either are bothered by it at all. IT is like a double play. Penny always said it with a smile on her face. I actually like that Penny and Leonard are not perfect. And they say stuff like this. It is realistic. Couples don't always get on. But Leonard and Penny always say these things with a sense of enderment. So when Penny said about Leonard teaching Physics. And smiled, and called him sweety. Leonard took it in his stride.

I was wondering that myself, are they going to give him a new girlfriend.

I apologize for that. Not quite sure how I did that.

gave it an excellent. It's probably my favourite of the season. Both storylines were great, of course I preferred the Shamy one.

I also think it's my favorite, but I liked Raj's story and the Shamy equally.

The Raj storyline was really good. Best Raj storyline ever. Enjoyed his Dad. The tag IMO was the best group tag ever. The six played their parts perfectly.

unfortunately the Shamy storyline was a total filler. Didn't  Sheldon tell Amy in  episode three this season to plan the wedding? Didn't he basically say tell me when and I will be there? So we get a storyline of them planning their wedding together. Did both Amy and Sheldon forget what he said? Just bad writing IMO. I think I could of dealt with it okay if they actually got married. But then who calls it off? Sheldon who supposedly didn't care where they got married.  Of course now since they didn't get married will there be more wedding planning?  Odds are since there are 30+ episodes to go.

Just my 2 cents but I've had enough wedding planning already I really don't need anymore

I agree. But if you are it can't involve Sheldon. You are going against something stated 7 episode ago

I agree with 3ku11 on this one. Holograph was special but the reality is it was one time thing. Generally Penny, and most people, would have no idea what he’s saying when he discusses his work. But at the Observatory Raj’s talk was meant for people like Penny not the rest of the guys or Amy. It was made simple for people to understand.

Yeah, and Penny could say that instead of practically saying he bores her.

But she didn't. It seems to me they were there to support for Raj. Penny liked the show and obviously the crowd there did to. The tag wasn't suppose to be about Leonard.

Of course but her reaction to what Leonard said was actually a barb, Penny understands implications very well. I felt it was completely unnecessary in an episode where she truly tries to be nicer, it just made that niceness seem vain.
