[Spoilers] Raj: Season 11

So, given that in the 11.12 promo pic Raj has still curly hair, can we infer the only purpose of the Howard/Raj rift was to spear Kunal a couple of uncomfortable hours with his hairstylist every episode? LOL! 

The episode was funny, I liked they way the two of them made up, and connect again over a bouncy caste, it was hilarious. It was nice from Raj to help with the birthday party, the decorations were amazing for such a short notice. The two of them behaved in a very childish way in the first part of the episode, though. The fight might have had a profound meaning for Raj at the beginning, but in this episode it was completely lost. Happy it's over, and now they are friends again.

Raj did a great job planning the party and I am so happy he kept his curly hair. I like the curly hair! It's as if he's trying to be more himself now and not just stand up for himself.

I kinda hoped we could see more...not the fight, but the storyline. But on second thought, I'm not trusting the writers for a serious issue about Raj. So, I guess maybe this was just a mini story before the winter hiatus. 

I LOLed at their jumping scene, they were both very flexible.

The title of 11.13 should be "The Solo Oscillation". It can refer to anything, from Star Wars to a concert, we literally don't know anything else about the episode, LOL! Anyway, since Raj is the only one in the group "playing solo", I was wondering if the title refers to him. In this case, I really hope it's not another useless plot about him meeting a girl and then screwing up with her for some reasons, I'm pretty tired of those.

It is a bit of a racist sentiment to "ship off" Raj. JMO. Unless he has broken any immigration law, there is no need.

Lol how is saying a character who is pointless being shipped off to where he belongs being Racist LOL. I mean does his family not reside from India? I was not intending any Racial Sentiment at all. I was simply saying Raj is a meaningless character. And would only care about him when he leaves. .

I found Raj's plot during this episode not really funny and entertaining. I wish the writers stop giving him random and pointless dates and focus more on the development of his character. In fact, when they do so, they can accomplish more. The very thing I've noticed, and found interesting about him in this episode, is that the rift with Howard about the lack of confidence (although I didn't buy that much its premises) gave some results. He seemed more self-confident during his show at the observatory and when speaking with Nell after it. It looks like the writers did follow up with that. The rest of the plot didn't interest me very much, partly because I knew it was going to be pointless for the character, and partly because I didn't think it was "comedy material", it was simply not funny to me...

I loved seeing Raj at the planetarium, though. I enjoyed that. And I am relieved he did not know she was married when he first went out with her. Him trying to be friends with her husband to me seemed like something an earlier version of Raj would do. So it didn't bother me so much. I agree, though, he needs something more definite to do. He's becoming so pointless.

The curly hair suits Raj now as he's getting older. The straight hair made him look a cutie when he was young.

One of the problems has be continuity.  They take pictures of the actors between shots to make sure that the actors look the same in the next shot.  Curly hair is harder to maintain shot to shot.  Straight hair is easier to deal with.

And then you have Leonard's hair randomly alternating between straight and curly between episodes. They may keep continuity between shots but otherwise...

Also, there have many instances where Penny's long air was different. Basically one instant her hair is split half on the right and half on the left with a few strands in the middle of her back, in the same scene, in mid conversation she has some on the left and some on the right and about half down the middle of her back. That was the episode where we first met Alex and Leonard played the Cello for Penny.

All i can say, when discussing weddings, is god help us if Raj gets married. He would probably expect his parents to actually give him and his bride a "Sound of Music" style wedding.

When I started writing my fic back in October I thought that by the time I'd publish I would have to make major changes to the Raj chaper, which tells the beginning of his love story with an OC. I will be posting the chapter in a few hours and still no potential partner at sight. Oh well.

It's hard to picture him with a S.O. He messes up every relationship he's been in. He tries, but just can't get it right. Poor Raj.

I think that except for the hair change, the writers have given up on Raj, much like his father.

This is a pity because there was scope for interesting storylines with him trying to pay off his cards and live within his means,  consulting Sheldon on significant spends. He could have met a girl who thought he was poor and still went out with him on inexpensive dates.

You're right, the writers could have gone in so many ways with Raj. But, to me they seem fixated on Shamy's wedding. Both the planning stage and the actual wedding and forgotten the remaining cast members. They have them bending over backwards to so their bidding.
