Young Sheldon: Season 1, Episode 4

Recommended Posts

I was rewatching all the "The big bang theory" seasons and in episode 8 in season 1, Sheldon is upset beucase of a wallet and Leonard asks him: "Do you really need the honorary Justice League of America membership card?" and Sheldon answers: "It`s been in every wallet I`ve owned since I was 5".

So, in "The big bang theory", adult Sheldon by having that membership card is assuming that by the age of five he was already interested in the comics. But isn`t the show "Young Sheldon" representing 9-year-old Sheldon? Because the episode 4 was his first encounter with the comics and he was 9 years old, not 5.

Change in cannon. Or exaggeration. Or Sheldon having bad recollection.

When he was nine, Sheldon thought comics were for children, so perhaps he'd seen them when he was little.
