episodes 1124 'The Bow Tie Asymmetry' (May 10)

Was there a clip that didn't make it into the episode of Sheldon talking to Meemaw on the phone (you would only hear her voice). Where she tells him she's not well enough to make the trip.

They're finally married. Some of the best vows ever in a sitcom wedding. I like how they didn't make a big deal about groom seeing the bride in her wedding gown before the wedding cause it's been overdone. I had a big grin throughout the episode.

Why wasn't Bernadette a bridesmaid and Raj and Howard groomsmen?? Was it explained?

I'm glad you liked it. As a Lenny I didn't. The writers gave them the almost perfect wedding,  while both Lenny weddings had it be about Sheldon. He forced his way into the second and made it impossible for the gang to watch the first one due to him acting like a  petulant child. He also caused problems with Howard and Bernadette's wedding while trying to insert Klingon in his speech when Bernadette said no Klingon. But, to some it was funny because it's baby Sheldon. Well,  that is enough ranting for now.

Totally agree  Why do the writers always upstage P&L. In their bliss of an engagement announcement they get pushed aside for Raj's sex life.......really WTH? Then like you mention in their first wedding Sheldon is his overbearing obnoxious self and makes everyone miss the ceremony. In P&L redo wedding Sheldon becomes an even bigger a.....hole and is more obnoxious and insulting the whole episode, even to his own mother. And in the final episodes they brush aside P&L baby announcement with Shamy quest for the Nobel prize. Such blatant disregard for TBBT core couple. End of rant

Totally agree. I could rant for days, but I  gotta let it go for now. Something will happen to set me off again in the future. I will try to curtail any of my rants that this way may come.😊

If I remember correctly, the Shamy gave tasks to their friends ( and Georgie?) and the ones who'd score the more points would get to be matron of honour and best man. In the end Penny had an epiphany and realised she was Amy's best friend so she shoud be matron of honour . No explanation for Leonard other than he was Sheldon's oldest friend I would imagine. I don't think it was explained really. ( Penny says something along those lines to Leonard  : " After everything you've done for him, he should have asked you" , so I guess Shedon asked him off-screen) 

No rant from me 🤣 Think i've ranted enough on that topic 

Okay now I've just realised i didn't answer your question at all oops I thought best man= groomsman. So nope, no explanation given for no Raj/Howard as groomsmen!

I've never heard anything like that.  But, we might hear something in another couple of months.

If there was such a  call,  I'm betting Sheldon would have been talking to Mary not meemaw. That's just my opinion.

I stand corrected. It doesn't sound like the actress portrayed Meemaw in the show.

The adult Sheldon narration was absent from some of last season's episodes of YS. Particularly towards the end. Has me wondering if the adult Sheldon voiceovers are being phased out.

As I have never seen an episode of  Young Sheldon,  I can't give an opinion on the voiceovers being phased out.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I won't go into my feelings on the wedding and the Season 11 as whole. I have stated it before and I don't think anyone wants to hear it again.

Yeah I get you Chucky, the Shamy wedding was near perfect. It was what the Lenny wedding should have been but ruined BOTH times. I didn't see anyone ruin Shamy wedding like that.

Agreed, Sheldon ruined both weddings. One time acting like the baby he was and the other just to take the spotlight. Bernadette didn't help calling Sheldon the other husband that came with the apartment. Those writers spoiled Lenny's weddings for a laugh. I've always thought that weddings were humble, happy events.
