Well, last night and this morning was our first cold day of the year. It was in the 30's with a very brisk wind. I want to commend those determined trick or treater's with their parents for going out on such a night. The good news is it wasn't raining! :hi:

Lovely here in Sarasota.  Sunny, high right at 80 (about 25C), a beautiful day to work on finishing up painting the house.

Funny story. A couple of years ago at Christmas, a friend of mine and neighbor, had a call from his brother. His said that he had been shoveling snow all morning. My friend then told he had to turn up the air conditioner. That's the difference between the North and South weather wise.  :hi:

I had an aunt in Marathon, Florida. She used to call us every year when it was below zero and ask us how we were doing. But she also had to call us almost every year when she was being evacuated from her trailer park for hurricanes.

Trailer parks yeah. I've been here since 1995, when I retired from the Navy, we haven't had to evacuate once. Now if a Cat 5 hurricane heads this way, I'll be on the road to Tuscaloosa, Alabama in a heart beat!

Can't complain about the weather here 75 today and tomorrow but we're going to have a cold front come thru next week so about an average of 65. Think I will stay in Long beach

Here in Milton, just west of Pensacola, it's 77 and partly cloudy. Although it's suppose to start raining around 11 AM.

Well, I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays. I maybe on the road, so I'll get this in early. It's not too since it is Christmas Eve. As usual, there will be no white Christmas here. I'll have to settle for watching White Christmas on TV again this year. So again, Happy Holidays to all!   :sungum:

Well, we had a very interesting night here. I was awaken at 12:15 this morning by my wife concerned about the weather. I checked my phone and saw we were in a Tornado Warning. At 7 A.M. we drove around the neihborhood and saw , on the next street over from us, had numberous down trees and demolished privacy fences. That was a close call.  Tornado's worry me more than hurricanes. Usually there are days of warning for hurricanes. Tornadoes. not so much. There was a lot of damage, but no one hurt here in Milton, Fl. We had no power between 11:45 P.M. and 10:15 A.M.

Recovering is already started. Trees being cut down and ground up. They're still working on the down electricity  lines. There are several electric poles or as I have been told (telephone poles). They are thick mothers. They were snapped in half like a toothpick. It's been a very interesting day starting at midnight.

Take Care Chucky.

Will do. Seems like this round is over. A couple of neighbors have tarps on their roof's. They weren't on their roof's yesterday. We got some very heavy rain. It was so hard, I couldn't the house behind mine. The winds were so strong, I was beginning to think that a hurricane had snuck up on us.

Well, the weather was beautiful yesterday. A bright sunny day, not too hot with a nice cool breeze. It reminded me of why I moved to Florida. The beaches were open with that beautiful white sand. People seemed to be acting reasonably smart. As required, no groups any larger than 10 people. Alot of folks on the fishing pier, but were keeping their 6 foot distanting. All in all a great day to walk on the beach and enjoy the weather. We need to enjoy it while we can as hurricane season is quickly coming upon us.

Well, we had some nice much needed rain last night. Lo and behold we have a beautiful rainbow in the skies over Pace and Pennsacola, Florida. Haven't seen an actual live rainbow in many years. Just seen the ones on film. Man, it's a beautiful morning.
