chucky
I'm beginning to wonder if this is December or April. We're getting rain and very moderate temperatures. No wonder people are getting sick, the weather can't decide to be cold or hot. One day it's in the 30 to 40 range. The next day it's in the 70's. That's Florida for you, at least we don't have hurricanes headed our way. 9 more days till Christmas.
vonmar
Anyone want to come and help me shovel? We got 15.5" of snow in the last 24 hours! ❄️❄️❄️⛄
chucky
Well, Hopefully some are getting nice weather. I guess the rainy season has started. According to weather we'll suppose to have rain for the next 6 days. That's a lot of rain. Hopefully there will be no tornados. Hurricane season is coming up soon. We'll have to start prepping for that!

chucky
Well you can tell it's hurricane season. There's a storm brewing over Mexico way. About Friday that storm will supposedly hit around New Orleans and the storm will drench Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and Louisiana. Probably parts of Texas as well. It's gonna be an interesting weekend indeed.

We're expecting a lot more rain tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. We'll probably get some wind as well. We are hunkered down to wait it out. I've lived here since 1993 and well experienced in dealing with tropical storms. We don't take any storm lightly. I've come to respect the power of these storms. chucky
Well Hurricane Ida is ravishing Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. Pensacola is catching some wind and rain. Right here in beautiful Milton, Florida, we're getting some wind and rain. We haven't lost power as of yet. Sorry for being so long since I last posted. My computer died and had to break down and buy another one. Then I forgot my password to sign in on the forum. But, for better or worst, I'm back!!! We had heavy rain and stiff winds. We had a possible tornado in the area. That was about a mile from the house. Right now we're under a tornado watch and flash flood warning. Good thing I have no plans to go anywhere. We're hunkered down watching The Weather Channel.
chucky
Well, looks liked more interesting times for The Gulf Coast. A Tropical disturbance is located over Mexico. It's predicted to hit anywhere from Texas to Florida. What else is new at this time of year? So, if you live on the Gulf Coast, keep a watchful eye on the Weather Channel. chucky
Well, here we go again. Another storm hitting the Gulf Coast. Tropical Storm Nicholas is about to land in Texas. Because of the track of the storm, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama will get a lot of rain and wind. We on the panhandle of Florida will get a lot of rain. chucky
Dang, I wish the remnants of Tropical Depression Nicholas would hurry up and leave this area. I'm tired of the rain. We're getting off and on rain showers 24/7. We're suppose to have this weather all the way thru this weekend. For a storm that came on shore in Texas, it's sure causing headaches here in Florida and Alabama!
