Smcfan42 Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 In the episode where sheldon tries to be his friend, kripky says before eating with the group that he needs to"floss the Indian food out of his teeth before he can eat Chinese." I never understood that.

Tripper Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 Kripke was saying he'd had Indian food for lunch and that there were bits of Indian food still in his mouth and perhaps a residual taste. He didn't want a mix of ethnic cuisines in his mouth, so he wanted to floss out the remaining Indian food before eating a different cuisine. I just thought that from the way the audience reacted to him saying that, there might have been a meaning to what he was saying that I hadn't caught onto. Tripper Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 I think the audience response was that of disgust. What Kripke was saying is something most people wouldn't say in polite company. The audience response was probably just like that of Penny, who showed her distaste at Kripke and his remarks.
