Could be, but how is that a spoiler ? What would her hairstyle tell us, other than she decides to tidy herself up a bit ? Last year she wore it up in the Stephen Hawking 'about time' scene but it wasn't a sign of anything.

Some thought that was a wig and Amy's change of hairstyle might have been a sign of a time jump. Mayim cut her hair for real, though, my guess is it has something to do with the finale (otherwise she would have waited till the end of the show to change her looks so dramatically), but I can't really imagine in what way.

The title of 12.23 made me think about Amy's hair... Mayim cut her hair before 12.24 and, as I have said before, it must have been for some reason related to the show itself, she would have waited a couple of weeks for TBBT to be over to do that if that was just something she wanted to do for herself. Maybe there is an actual scene where Amy cuts her hair during 12.23 to help Sheldon to get used to change around him, I guess the final episodes will have plenty of changes in the characters' lives (Shamy included). I also guess 12.24 title is self explanatory, finally this Nobel-thing plot will be over*, LOL!

*.....24 episodes too late, if you ask me, not at all a fan of it, sorry for those who like it!

Hi! Im late in the game but im on vacation and lately, all i do is obsessing about the ending of this show. 

I've read all the articles about it and i want to highlight that TV guide bit about having a dark streak twist. They also had interview about the ending having a dark part and was corrected by Mayim that it is more complicated than dark. If that indeed is the title of episode 24, the stockholm syndrome could have a double meaning. 

Aside from the title being related to the nobel prize, I think one of them or all of them realized that they are actually experiencing being captive by each other in their own little world, have some kind of resistance over it but they ended up wanting to stay that way hence the ending having them just continually live their life as most of the cast had said. 

It might be more complicated than this but its fun to speculate.

May I just add that because of this, I dont think Shamy will move out of the apartment which is something I really want for them. But I am still crossing my fingers. 

I just really want to let that out. Thank you for the space.

Not gonna lie, I'm a bit nervous about the finale because the writers didn't really shine this season. I still can't wrap my head around the fact, that they wasted so much time with all the filler episodes. And now it looks like they're going to drop a lot of story/content in the last 2 (!) episodes. WHY????

Btw, I've seen a behind the scenes picture of Shamy and Lenny in a hotel room…so either Lenny came along for the ceremony or it's actually in LA and it's about something else.

We might not all agree on every decision and development (or how the writers went about it lol) of the Shamy relationship but I think we can all agree that Shamy has been fun a lot of fun to watch over the last 8 seasons.  They are unique, there has never been a couple like them and likely there never will be again.

It's also been really enjoyable and fun talking about them on here, in my case for 4 seasons and for some of you even longer than that.

So as our favourite couple rides off into the sunset and that's the end of us seeing how their life unfolds just take some time to remember the great moments they have given us fans over the years. 😊

I saw an interview with Mayim and Michael A. and I can't say she seemed that satisfied with the ending when he asked her. He also mentioned that he felt the last episode was somewhat 'dark' while Mayim didn't agree it still makes me a bit nervous. It doesn't sound like it's going to be all fun and games...

Regards what the last episodes may bring to our Shamy, I believe they will get what they deserve, as individuals and as couple. Shamy relationship has been a great journey that I wont ever forget. They have a special place in my heart, as they lived wonderful, powerful, weird and funny stuff together. Shamy will be printed in our hearts and minds forever ❤

Gosh, how will I handle with no more Shamy on tv. Oh boy... *sigh*

I don't think it's a hotel room. There's what looks like a design from 4B hanging on the door. It's been inevitable they'd move to somewhere bigger eventually, so if that's theirs it's not a great big spoiler.

IMO it didn't look like a home, the design may be just the production reusing props.

Could be. It doesn't look very homey, true. Hotel rooms usually have a card with fire regulations and emergency procedures hanging on the door. Perhaps somebody's only just moved in. Next week we'll know.

I really really want this to happen for Shamy. But still can't help to be anxious about their ending. 

I watched that interview @shellmentioned. The way Mayim answered if she is satisfied feeds some negative thoughts in me. I don't think I can take if something bad will happen to Shamy.  

I really hope for the best because despite of some negative bits that we get from interviews and articles, the overall feeling is that it ended in a sweet satisfying way. 

But i really hope Chuck Lorre's team knows what's best for their safety. 😂😂😂

I wouldn't worry about what Mayim says. She writes about the episodes on her site and doesn't always seem to see what we see. The cast don't know how their work's been edited and Mayim doesn't watch TV.

I think it's going to be okay. I saw most of the interview with Galecki on the Talk today and he was reassuring. I would bet that he was talking for all the characters. I have a feeling Chuck L. really loves these characters and he wouldn't want a sad ending for any of them.

I don't want Lenny children. If they do it, they will have just been deliberately screwing with fans all season and it would upset me to know that they had done that.  But I concede it's possible.

The promo pics for 12.23 and 12.24 are pretty interesting....Shamy seem very nervous in the pics from 12.23, constantly looking at their phones,  and at some point Amy looks very sad. Maybe they didn't get the Nobel prize for real! In the promo pics from 12.24 they haven't shown Amy at all, I guess for not spoiling the fact she cut her hair. Anyway, I'm not very worried for the prize and I don't really care if the win that or not (I would even prefer they don't), they "sick together" in 12.24, according to the press release, they might have hit a bump, but they will find the way to overcome this difficult period.
