We now know NY is one of the locations they honeymoon in, I wonder where the second location is? I am so excited for more details. I really hope we get a taping report tomorrow night.

You're right. I'm so excited for this! I think they are filming in NY only for the first episode of season 12 right? :) Imagine all the moments they will have there! 😍

They are not filming in NY, it's an outdoors set that looks like NY on the Warner Bros lot.

Well,  the American Natural History Museum and New York Hall of Science  are in New York. It might sound very Shamy  to me! 😉

I immediately thought of hall of science...that would be amazing!

Not at this time of the year.

Well I don’t know if you live or have lived on the east coast but the weather here is like changing clothes. One day it is hotter then hell then the next day it is colder then cold

I lived in Montreal for about ten months which is the closest I have been to New York. In the summer I was either in the lab or in my apartment. They were both air conditioned. The three minute walk back and forth was hot and humid in the summer months. I found it unpleasant. I did a lot of indoor reading that year (this was mid 80s; no www).

I do remember these days. 😁

It is kind of like the Midwest. If you don't like the weather wait five minutes.

Season 12 is supposed to pick up right after the wedding I believe, so May in NYC not August.

I don't know what it lie in May, It probably bounces from year to year but when I was there in mid-April 2 years ago it was kind of chilly. I mean we weren't wearing our winter coats, hats and gloves but it wasn't in the 70s or 80s either. The  last day of the trip was very nice. sunny and in the high 60s maybe low 70s at one point.. The first full day it rained (Downpours off and on) almost the the day.  Actually the day we got there it was raining. the second day when we visited the statue of liberty it was windy most of the day.

I actually prefer it in October. The first time I went was in October many years before  and wasn't bad. Thought one night was very windy and cold and we waited an hour in the cold rain for a taxi before we realize our hotel was only a few blocks away lol some 5000 taxi and you never can get one is what we were told on a tour the first time

I took a road trip to the midwest a month ago (visited The Dakotas, Wisconsin and Minnesota) and  could't believe the heat and  humidity in Minnesota and Wisconsin! I never experienced anything like that.  I know it hot there in the summer but I didn't realize it got that hot or that the hudnity was that bad.  You could barely breathe when you first step outside.

90 in Hawaii feels better than 90 in Wisconsin because really 90 in Wisconsin is really 95.

I was there at the end of June and beginning of July and the heat was as bad as at home. Dublin, Wales, London, all scorching. I didn't expect that at all.

Neither did we ! We don't even get summer every year, let alone a heatwave.

Here you go anyone wanting spoilers 😄

The opening scene is so cute its sheldon waking Amy up in bed saying good morning wife and she says good morning husband, then he makes a comment about how its official they've consummated it and something about hanging the bedsheets out the window. They start their honeymoon in lego land and then go on to new york. Sheldon keeps scheduling everything including their coitus eventually amy gets mad and tells him she wants it to be spontaneous, they have a little argument, he explains himself( its very sweet in a very sheldon way) and amy says he can schedule everything as long as he doesn't tell her. Amy makes a science comment sheldon gets turned on and takes her back to their hotel.

From the DT.

@joyceraye I can't believe you nailed the whole "now that they are married..." thing with your prediction. lmao

Excellent spoilers from the premiere! Thanks again to Wonderland! Finally the once a year thing should be done and Shamy have decided for something more spontaneous! I also like the idea they met half-way with it. If Sheldon needs a schedule, because that's how everything works for him, that's ok, he just need to keep it to himself, ahahah! Anyway, Amy's science/sexy-talk is the most powerful aphrodisiac, no need to schedule that!!!

My net signal was driving me mad earlier in the morning  but the waiting for  getting the signal back was so worth! I am so happy!!

Finally the once in a year thing should be done, lol! I just love the honesty our Shamy feed in their relationship! They always find the perfect halfway for things that they need to find balance. Love that! ❤️

And how perfect could be Shamy honeymoon? It could not be more perfect: lego and New York. Spontaneous lovemaking and sexy talk: how could a coitus schedule resist to Amy's sedutive skills? Never, lol!

Last but not least, thank you so much for your report, @NotWonderland. You have a generous heart :)

I did have a kind of thought, maybe some kind of squabble between her parents (I would guess they have had some over the years lol) and perhaps one of them (Amy's dad?) stays at 4B to get away until they resolve it.  The apartment is vacant, maybe one of them is crashing there.  Nothing serious though as they resolve it in the end, they probably have this kind of relationship where they bicker a lot but there are still good times and love in their relationship. You could have the gang help out.

lol not a million miles off. :icon_lol:

Sounds like a fantastic opening episode and a strong start to the season especially for Shamy, can't wait to see it. 😊

The Amy's parents plot seem so funny! Poor Mr Fowler, lol! A precious break is needed once in a while when is about Mrs Fowler we are talking about! :icon_cheesygrin:
