The Amy's parents plot seem so funny! Poor Mr Fowler, lol! A precious break is needed once in a while when is about Mrs Fowler we are talking about! :icon_cheesygrin:

I really hope this plot might shed some light over Amy's parent's marriage and relationship and, as a consequence, over Amy's childhood. And...I hope we finally learn Mrs. Fowler's first name! I can't believe we don't know that yet!!!

It was nine years before we learned Meemaw's given name was Constance so there's bags of time yet to learn Mrs Fowler's.

True, but you know me by now...I'm a "needy baby greedy baby" when it comes to Shamy, LOL!

Same here. We must know all Shamy details, it is like oxygen to us, shippers! :icon_biggrin:

Cant help myself, hehe! I even want to know their children names oneday, hehe!

BTW, it is still missing the Shamy cuddling on bed... writers, is it going to happen this season, right? Right? 61b602c3-73bd-4174-947c-2c0ff00b5be0.gif.a9a88ca40089982ac5b1671c45d9bf2d.gif

I've been thinking about this and at this point it's the only thing that's missing. But wouldn't it be great if the cold open started with Shamy all cuddled up and then waking up with their “Good morning, wife/husband”? Sigh. A girl can dream.

(Come on, writers; we've been waiting since season 9. 😩

That would be The perfect cold open! This girl refuses to stop dreaming about it!

Like what you said here. And just a thought, maybe Sheldon will be the one to "solve" the Fowlers problems someday, assuming they will continue with this plot.  But when I say "solve", is more like there would be some interactions between them.

Actually this episode reminds me of the premier of Season 11, Sheldon being annoying, Amy gets angry, but then they have a great talk, it shows the wonderful communication between them. I like this.

@NotWonderland Thank you for the spoilers!!! I'm wondering this time we will be seeing what words or sentences from Mr. Fowler. LMAO.

I agree that there are some similarities between the bare plot of the tow episodes, but for me there is a huge difference. In S. 11 premiere they fought because Sheldon was being annoying (I prefer defying him an a$$, plain and simple) because he could not stand that Amy was in the spotlight for a change. Now it looks to me he was simply trying too hard to be the "good husband" he thinks Amy deserves. He was doing it his way, scheduling is something that makes him more comfortable, and schedules, especially when they concern "certain" matters, are for sure annoying. I like that Amy has found the right solution, a middle ground that makes both of them comfortable.

From the DT.

@joyceraye I can't believe you nailed the whole "now that they are married..." thing with your prediction. lmao

Thanks. I was just going with their characters and a few things they'd said, especially Sheldon.  He's most comfortable keeping rules and following convention.

You are right.  I just wanted to express my love for their "talk", so I put the two situations in the same category. But I like the similar outcomes. I really love their talk over the years, and not gonna lie, I personally think they learned their lesson about the communications, so I'm happy to see another meaningful dialogue between them. I always enjoy them.

I also find it hilarious that Amy is mad that Sheldon ruins their nerdy / geeky activities cause his mind is still too focused on the honeymooning part. lmao

I think as Sheldon said, he is not a physical person, but he surely gets turned on by "Science Amy" and “Logical Amy” easily. Off the top of my head, I can remember the surprise discussion, the heated debate after their first night of living together, the "I love you so damn much" from 11X24, so I don't think he needs to worry about not being physical "more" with Amy, because let's face it, Amy can "seduce" him with only the words. LOL. Case in point, this episode.

Isn't that pretty much how the season opens? Or did I read the taping report wrong?

All we know is that they exchange their good mornings, but we don't know whether they're each sleeping on their side of the bed or they wake up cuddling, etc. I mean, it's a tv show. They could go all fan fiction on it and start with them spooning. lol
