Thanks for all the info sharing everyone. I tried again to get regular tickets and failed miserably and would appreciate it if anyone going tomorrow could get an idea of how many standbys (if any) get in. TIA.

I'm going tomorrow. I will let you know

When do you hold standby tickets?

Thank you very much! Tickets are for April 2. Would aim to get there ridiculously early as it looks like its already down to single figure numbers of standbys getting in, but if it gets to none at all making it in the weeks before then its probably not worth making the trip.

Hi everyone,

I just bumped into this forum while looking for standby info.  My husband and I got standbys for tomorrow (3/12) but as the end nears, it seems like I'm reading more and more about standbys not really having a prayer as far getting into the studio. We're local so spending the day over there isn't a huge deal but my husband is getting disheartened by the minute so he's on the fence about whether it's worth it to risk the heartbreak of being shut out.

Had anyone on standby gotten lucky these last couple of weeks?  Will we have a fair chance if we get in line by 8?

Also, I'm thinking we should uber to avoid any parking hassles obviously we'd need our cell phones; does security give a real hard time or do they just take them no questions asked and keep them locked away? Has anyone here ever lost a phone?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Jo.

Hey Jo!

So my friend and I had standby tickets for the taping on 2/12, we arrived at 7am, and were 5th and 6th in line. I would say maybe 15 standby people got in for that day and we were on the very ends of the outer sections. The closer it gets to the end, I would advise you guys to get there as soon as you can in the morning, hard to say if 8:00 will be good enough anymore. If it were me, I’d say 7 or earlier, honestly.

Parking really wasn’t a hassle, we were allowed in the parking garage at 7 no problem, and it was nice to just bring our things back to the car as we were brought into the holding area, and after we got our line numbers. But if you Uber, they didn’t hassle anyone for leaving their phones with their ID at security, in fact there were a lot of the bags with phones when we walked through security at the stage.

Good luck!! If you’ve never been, and I hadn’t before my experience, it is so worth it, especially as we get so close to the end!!

Someone tagged their mom on TBBT facebook page saying the finale was going to be done on the parent's anniversary and suggested they get four tickets to go celebrate it. Yeah, like that's going to happen. That is a real long shot as I see it.

I imagine it will be very hard to get even a regular tickets for the Series Finale as no doubt their will be many VIP'S, Executives,  Family Members  , etc,. You almost would have had to get one already.

I would imagine that it might be by invitation only.

That would be so awesome to be at the finale but I'm glad I started to try to get tickets when I did. We fly down in the morning for tomorrow's taping, so excited!!! We are totally dressing as Shamy and it's with our everyday closet of clothes lol.

Hi! My sister and I will be attending next week's taping with non-standby tickets. As this season comes to an end, I feel that people will keep arriving earlier and earlier. Would you mind letting me know how early you get there and what numbers in line you get? This will help us decide when we think we should get there! Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Hope you have an amazing time!!

The finale taping was pulled from the Audiences Unlimited schedule.  They mentioned it was going to be by invitation only.  However, a few standby tickets might be released.

I just seen the line as a regular ticket holder, couldn't believe that many were there already. I was told the first ones lined up at 5:00am

Looks like 5am is the earliest someone got here today. There were already 20-30 in line when I got there at 8:15am. I'll let you know if any get in

Yeah, I was thinking 5am would be the time to stand a fighting chance of getting in as a standby if any at all do. Thanks for any info you can get, and have an amazing time!!

How about the line for the regular tickets. How many people are in line currently? I am attending next week's show and am trying to decide when to show up! Thanks!

Well.....After 11 hours of waiting at about 6:20 PM the last 15 standby ticket holders were told that there were no seats left, NONE.

My husband and I ended up being 11 and 12 on standby and although we didn't get in to see the show, we had a nice time hanging out with another friendly couple we met in line.  Some people were visibly upset but I was mentally prepared for the possibility of not making it in so I'm not too upset.

There seemed to be more VIPs than regular ticket holders and they were taken to the sound stage as they arrived right up until we were told to go home.  Someone mentioned that people who went on the Ellen Show received VIP tickets but I don't know if that's accurate.

I doubt I'll try getting in with standby tickets again. If Ellen guests are getting VIP tickets then the chances of getting in with standby tickets are slim at best but that's just my personal opinion.

I hope everyone who got in today had a fantastic time!

Sorry to hear that. I was told no one with standby tickets made it in by audiences unlimited. And even two general admission or regular ticket holders did not make it in.

There weren 4 full rows of VIPs, a LOT

So if you have general, arrive early. If you have standby you have to camp out and pray in these final episodes
