Me again ..... I GOT A TICKET!!! For the 4th December! 

I actually managed to get two, one for me and for my boyfriend but it doesn't look like he will be able to come. I guess it is common for people to go solo? 

So excited!! To anyone who has been trying and hasn't managed to get one yet.....don't give up!!! Thanks to this thread for keeping me from giving up!

This thread has some great information. My wife and I are planning on getting tickets to ANY taping we can get into this year. One of those "spontaneous" things that we hear about doing in life. 

To anyone who was able to get a ticket: what times are you seeing the tickets come online?  Im seeing that the 30 day point for each taping so far in 2019 seems to be on a Monday, so im figuring to start checking the site on Monday mornings at 11am (im Eastern time).  Anyone else agree with this thought process? Did I count right? 

its important to me because I want to really do this for my wife. We started watching right when we got married in Oct of 2011 and never missed an episode after. We really feel this will be a great way to end the series with a Bang!   (we would LOVE to get a cast picture autographed by all of the cast too but I bet that's a real stretch)

If I get tickets, I will post!   Good luck everyone!

I'm from the east coast, too. I've seen them go up at 11:36 or so. Of course, that time can and does vary. Good luck!

I also suggest trying on a tablet or phone... When I went to get tickets this season, they didn't show up on my laptop or desktop. I heard others say similiar things at last night's taping. Of course, do what you are most comfortable with and have access to. Good luck!

So just a little update - Tickets for the 12/11 date came and went while watching the website crash and burn lol.  I did see the show populate in the tickets list but when I got in que it was sold out. But at least I had a good dry run for a date I really want!

I know others have mentioned this, but here is the trick that has always worked for me:  I preload my info on the computer so that it will auto-load your info when you have to quickly fill out the information for the tickets.  If you are trying to get 2 tickets, I have a helper (my daughter) next to me with a second computer (her iPhone) doing the same thing for that second ticket.  I always use my iPad and it does seem faster than my old MAC computer.

It’s been a few years since I attended a taping of TBBT and when I heard that this was their last season, I was bound and determined to attend one more time. I kept trying every possible Monday like clockwork, and today I finally got a General Admission ticket! WooHoo!

A note to those of you who are trying.... don’t give up! 

And here’s the weird thing that happened to me. I had several browsers open — Internet Explorer on a PC, Google Chrome on a PC, Safari on my iPad, and Safari on my iPhone. Refreshing 4 browsers at a time is a little challenging. A few times, I got timeout errors. Internet Explorer seemed to refresh the fastest, but at one point, it showed TBBT in the drop down list and when I went to get a ticket, it told me it was sold out. Google Chrome did the same thing. Safari on my iPad never seemed to show me TBBT. Neither did my iPhone. I had pretty much given up.

But then at 9:20 AM Pacific Time, I felt compelled to look one more time using Safari on my iPad. And lo and behold... a ticket was available!! I couldn’t believe it, especially since Internet Explorer and Google Chrome both told me that tickets were already sold out! I looked over the final ticket with a fine-toothed comb and don’t see the word Standby on it anywhere, so I’m just as shocked as you probably are right now.

So don’t give up! 🙂

I had the same problem as bfm but unlike Sheldon I believe in prayer so I kept on praying. Interestingly, I had 4 devices as well 2 windows and two andriod. It kept loading and loading and loading then finally it started coming up. As soon as I click it says sold out. I actually did that on three devices except the one I least trusted. 

I had actually given up so I was looking for standby tickets. after all I am travelling a long distance (13,000 km or 8000 miles) just for and only the taping. I have to see it it is the last season. Strangely it was past 09:00 am (17:00 my time) and still no stand by tickets. Then at 17:34, i took my least trusted device and was trying to click of f the page then low it refreshed and TBBT tickets popped up. I could not believe it. My hands were literally shaking as I typed out my name and filled the form all the time still praying and thanking my maker.

When it was done I scanned every single line to check dates, show, address standby and it was a general ticket. Although it still says there is no guarantee I will be let in. 

I guess i am probably travelling the longest distance in the history of the show just to see it and i continue to pray nothing happens that I do not see it. it is my entire life savings but I hope it will be worth it. If I starve afterwards, I will starve with a smile on my face.

I bet folks will be wondering how sill I am but in my country we often say that "the pleasures of madness are known only to the madman himself".

Will someone tell me if it is worth the hassle for me. Not that I will heed anyway.

Sorry Gadget Girl for ascribing to someone else. and bfm for wrong ascription. This is plagiarism.. My fault. I guess Sheldon would have a lot to say about that if he sees this post.

I arrive in LA on the 3rd of December. And I hope there are no delays as I would not want to miss this chance. I pray everyday for it. 

I will be needing advice on how to get to the studio from Los Angeles and also the best time to get there and transport tickets et al. Advice please anyone?

My wife and I have gotten standby tickets on 2 separate occasions. The first time about 6 weeks ago, we were 45 and 46th in line.
They took the top 40!

So for the Nov 20th taping we got in line around 7am and we were 6th and 7th in line with again standby tickets.
The other folks in line were very friendly and conversation made the day go by nicely.

We got in an noticed a good amount of VIP and especially regular ticket holders.

Then around 5pm or so, they announce 4 different groups of ticket holders, VIP, Regular, Standby and one other that we didn't catch.
They continued stating that due to the high volume of VIP's that even some regular ticket holders may not get a seat!

Around 6pm or they announced that NO standby ticket holders would get in!

Needless to say we will never do standby again. In fact one person got a standby ticket just the night before.

Yes, we will still try to get "guaranteed" tickets and if so, will arrive early.

That's sad to hear. I guess that since it is the last season there are more VIPs coming.
