Hi everyone, just wanted to ask if the 3/19 taping will be released on Monday 2/18(as usual, but it's President's Day) or Tuesday after the President's Day? Really hope to secure a ticket for my spring break, it would be great if anyone knows this.

If anyone would like help with tickets in the coming weeks, feel free to message me. When I was getting tickets a few weeks ago, I spent some time checking out how their website ticket process currently works, and while it is more annoying than it used to be, getting tickets is still very doable.

For those with standby tickets in the coming weeks who are wondering about it, I can tell you that at last Tuesday’s taping, I heard about 6-10 standby ticket holders got in.

Tickets would generally be released tomorrow. If that was the date you need to attend I would refresh the page as usual at 8:30 PST time. Use multiple browsers and clear your cache and cookies.

then if they aren’t released, they will be released Tuesday

Hi!

I'm trying to get a ticket for attending the show for a friend of mine. He'd come from Spain just to see it!

He's sick and I would love to get a ticket for him as a present.

Could you help me please?

Thank you soooo much.

My recommendation is to set reminders in your phone calendar 30 days out from taping dates to go off 30 min before tickets are released at 8:30 PST. I would have multiple devices and multiple browsers refreshing. Clear your browsing cookies and cache prior to refreshing your browser. Starting at 8:20 PST I refresh my browsers every 3-5 seconds. Once it becomes available and you click order tickets I have experienced glitches where it says sold out. Don’t give up. I tried another browser last Monday when two other browsers gave me indications that the show was sold out and got a ticket.

I was able to get tickets 4 times last season (picked two and attended, was unsure of LA travel dates), and once this season. It requires dedication, and a degree of luck. I’ve struck out far more than I’ve obtained tickets

Thank you! I'll check it later, hope we all can get guaranteed tickets! Fingers crossed.

OMG my friend and I secured tickets! but we are not sure if they are the standby or guaranteed tickets, there's nowhere says "standby" explicitly but there's someplace on the ticket says " this ticket does not guarantee admission to the studio". So we are confused whether it's standby or not.

While we (and others on the internet) call them guaranteed tickets, they aren’t.  They are usually two kinds of tickets, available to the public, regular, and standby.    There have been instances where regular ticket holders have not gotten in.  However, if you get to the studio, by the time indicated on the ticket, you almost always get in.  The difference between regular and standby, is that “Standby” is printed on the ticket. You have a regular ticket, congrats, have a great time.

You should be in as long as you get there by 4pm.

I think only 2-3 times in the shows history that some guarantees got bumped by VIPs

Also what is odd to me is that they haven’t released the standby tickets yet. Usually they do 15-20 mins after the regular tickets sell out.

starting to think there might be a larger number of VIPs for that taping

Thank you soooo much! Now I'm able to book the flight from the east coast all the way to LA! I'm sooo excited!

Thank you for the information! I just can't believe I got the guaranteed tickets! Maybe 3/19 is during spring break so the number of VIPs could be larger than usual.

I think it’s more a function of how many regular tickets are being used. Several posts up, there was mention of only 6–10 standby getting in, for the last taping. About the same, for the taping I attended. I think it being more difficult to get tickets, those who get them really want to go, so more regular tickets are being used, equals less standby.

Judging by what happened earlier in the season, regular tickets seem to go up in an automated fashion, so even on holidays. Standby must involve something manual because they only seem to go up when Audiences Unlimited is in the office. They'll likely go up tomorrow.

There are definitely a large number of VIPs at this point. Some fun (or not so fun) data I got off their website in the last two weeks: last Monday 120 regular tickets went up; this week there were 110. I think the studio seats like 250.

Yeah, I had to make sure about getting tickets before booking my flight from Florida.

242.  244 , if both wheelchair spots on the floor are used.

Just throwing this out there, for those who are attending upcoming tapings as a Stand-By:

I was at last weeks taping (2/12), my friend and I arrived at 7am, and we were #5 and #6 in line. I remember reading on here, and on other places on-line that if there was availability for stand-bys they took 10 at a time, but for us, it was just us top 6 to start. And we were inside and in our seats for at least 15-20 minutes before the next small group came in. I believe the last stand-bys who got in were around #12 maybe, and had arrived by 9am. And I'm guessing it's just going to get even more difficult for stand-bys to get in the closer it gets to the end. So DO be prepared to get there super early! Yes, it will be a very long day, but it is absolutely worth it!!

Everyone who is going to the upcoming tapings, have an absolute blast!!

They load the ticket list from: http://tvtickets.com/api/public/index.php/available-shows

When Big Bang tickets are up, you can see its info there, MaxTicket being the relevant field. It's public data, of course.

Gotcha. I know they used to cut off the VIPs, but I guess since we are down to the last few episodes they are allowing more

I’m going to get there early for the 03/12 taping just in case

So, after months of trying, we finally scored 2 non standby tickets for the 3/19 showing.  Everything is arranged and we are beyond geeked to be going!

That said: I have seen a mishmash of information around what time to actually get in line if you have non standby tickets.  is 3pm early enough? 2pm?

also, I saw the "places to sit" and boy my rear end is hurting just from looking at them. Anyone bring them sports seating cushions to sit on while waiting?  I don't care if I have to leave it behind or chuck it before we go in but was just wondering

Thanks again!

You should be fine to arrive at 3. The seats are uncomfortable. Usually audiences unlimited will give you time to run items back to your car after you get your line number. That is typically at 4:30 or so. Then they start taking VIPs over about 5 or so, then guaranteed, then maybe standby

They are released no earlier than 30 days before the taping.  2/25 would be 36 days before the taping, so it will be on 3/4 as day 30 would be 3/3, which is  a Sunday.  Although, the way the season has gone, you may want to check on 3/3, just in case.

thanks, wasn’t sure if they preferred to release them a few days early vs late
